Sorry: Terminator 2 is better than Terminator. One of the very few franchises where the sequel is acually better than the first part.

Matrix Reloaded, The Two Towers and The Dark Knight are all middle children in trilogies that are actually my favorite.

They’re two wildly different films that you can’t really compare on the same field. But either way both are generally received as amazing

they’re films in the same franchise, so i don’t think it’s all that crazy to compare them; it’s literally the difference between terminator and its sequel. i simply prefer alien’s slow burn treatment over aliens’ more gung-ho approach. still like aliens though.

What? Predator 2 doesnt suck as hard as the other sequels, but it is still shit when compared to the original Predator.

Die Hard 3 is my fav too. Jeremy Irons wasn’t quite as fantastic as Alan Richman but the movie overall was better. My fav aliens and/or predator film is the first AVP. I loved how Predator and Human had to join forces bc there were too many Aliens and humans screwed up the hunt when they stole the predators guns.

It’s almost not fair to compare the two. T1 was a lower budget film of like 7 million dollars. T2 was the most expensive movie ever made at that time with a budget of over 100 million dollars.

In today’s money T1 cost 17.5 and T2 cost 192 million dollars to make.
