If you click on the US link it says only US residents. The Nordics one says Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. It looks like you have to be a resident of one of the countries they have a link for.

Yeah, if it´s anything like my country, you choose your preferences (I think 3 in our case) from the available stations and they send you to whichever they feel like. Though in our case that doesn´t come until 3 or so years after joining the service iirc (one year of training including a brief stint abroad, and then 2 years at the ministry).
Anyways, massive congrats on making it this far!!! Hopefuly you´ll make it successfully all the way to the end. It truly is a feat not everyone can accomplish. I tried it once back home as well, mainly out of curiosity, and am still toying with the idea, but every year I have less and less interest and motivation to have anything to do with our government⌠

So I finally 100%ed H2 today⌠Only two achievements to go to wrap up everything entirely.
I´m not a completionist, so it wasn´t really my intention until a few months back, but I figured since I had already completed most of the challenges, I might as well do it. Probably the first game I 100%ed since Vice City or San Andreas⌠

I just recently learned about the Kane and Lynch games, mostly through these GmanLives videos

I was under the impression that these games were pretty good and well-received, but apparently not. Thatâs unfortunate!
The first game looks pretty bland and the gameplay is pretty shallow as well.
The second game doesnât improve the gameplay too much, but they play with a unique artistic style thatâs got its pros and cons. Certainly looks better than the first one.
This just from an outsiderâs perspective, but itâs interesting to see this IOI-shooter experiment. The style of the sequel is certainly a nice addition, reminds me of Max Payne 3.
This might be because Iâm on an IOI-fan-forum, but I really thought that the community consensus was that the Kane and Lynch games could be looked back on fondly as hidden gemsâŚ

Missed opportunity. I really was hyped for the first one. Even tried the demo which ran like caca on my old PC but I liked it. Really liked the improved ragdolls and the environment damage. Was sad that it turned out as being mediocre, even more so that Jeff Gerstmann from Gamespot got fired because of his review of it. He was my favorite reviewer back then.

How does one get fired for a review?
Eidos pumped a lot of money into Gamespot for advertisement of the game on their website before release 
Jeff gave it a deserving review (and a bad score) and upper suits at Gamespot thought that Eidos might be pissed so they fired him.

Oh shit that was over Kane and Lynch? I knew Gspot fired a guy over a game review I just didnât know it was Kane and Lynch.

Whatâs funnier is that Jeff said that many years after the incident he met with some folks from IO and they told him that K&L 1 wasnât that good and he told them âYou should tell this to my old employers.â 
Also hereâs the review if thereâs anyone out there that hasnât seen it to this day
