I can’t stand it myself. I tried the other ways to do it too like gummies etc. Not for me. I guess I prefer the hard stuff lol

Damn, man. It’s a thursday. Helldivers 2 came out a week ago, and somehow it’s still making new player-count peaks on PC! I can only imagine what this weekend might look like!
(Overall, I’d also say that the devs have done a great job fixing some of the matchmaking issues on PS5. Quickplay actually works (after like 10 attempts of a few seconds) and I’m finding matches in the middle of the mission rather than prepping on the ship beforehand.
But man, it’s crazy cool how this is blowing up. Helldivers 1 never had overstuffing issues with its servers like we saw last weekend.
May god have mercy on Arrowhead’s servers.

Was doing some spring cleaning around my house and found a ps3 and a few games for it one of them being a disc for the hitman hd trilogy so in a bit when I’m not busy I will play those for the first time

Helldivers 2 just hit yet another steam player record today with 333,000 concurrent players. (Most likely waiting on the title screen to be let in)
The count has dropped by about 100k on PC now, but we also have no way of knowing active PS5 count. And the servers are still overloaded today.
Both impressive and infuriating.
The devs have been really great at putting out patches fast to fix some key bugs, providing detailed reasons as to the server error issues, and releasing patches on PS5 pretty quickly too, despite Sony’s long certification process!

Knowing that we’re in a tight spot and dealing with a lot of stressors (health, housing, hound health), a friend of ours from college, without solicitation, bought us tickets to go see Pantera and Lamb of God at Madison Square Garden this Thursday.
The barrage of riffage will provide a temporary salve for my soul. I can’t wait.

So, I don’t have warm water since thursday anymore. My boiler had broken down and a technician came on Friday and discovered a blatant fault. Gas was coming out at some point 
He said that the boiler posed too great a safety risk and switched it off. It’s 30 years old and unfortunately irreparable, so now I have to wait until my landlord has bought a new one and had it installed. Until then, I have to take cold showers 
And to make things worse, I’ve had a stomach infection since Sunday 
Well, I’m making good use of my time at home by playing Hitman and Tomb Raider. At least that’s a consolation

Unfortunately no there is no warm water in my kitchen. I wash dishes for ten years now by boiling water with a kettle 
But I washed my hair in the sink with warm water the last days, that was quite easy. Boiled it, put it in and then hold my head in.
Just washing my body with cold water is quite the adventure at least my immune system and my connective tissue is happy

My union have secured my profession a salary increase on 8,8% over the next two years. 0,58% are going to my state pension. It’s a welcomed increase.
historically my profession been underpaid for many decades. in 1969 a reform was created to create a profession hierarchy that would dictate different professions salary. The lowest in the hierarchy would receive the lowest income and with lowest chance to get a salary increase. This old reform have gotten in the way for a salary increase for many professions. It still exists to this day, even if it’s horrible outdated. Luckily in recent years it’s seen a lot of political focus.

Glad to see you getting a jump in pay. My work force is currently in negotiations which have dragged and dragged on for a couple of years now. Fingers crossed we’re voting on something by the end of 2024

For anyone who is well versed on DIscord, please, some dude just sended me this.
“I received that ticket 2 hours ago and you still have time to prove your innocence, I hope you can get in time since im afraid that you might get ban because of my mistake, i’m sorry that i got you involved in this problem”
“can you just please help me add the discord account that is on the ticket since it’s recommended on the ticket: “timothylu4” and explain that it was just a false accusation and the report was just a mistake that you are innocent and not liable for the report, i really don’t want you to get banned so please take it seriously.”
They sended me all the previous text along with it.
I haven’t gotten any notification about this in my mail or on Discord itself. If it was serious, I would expect a message to notify me of the deal. Also, he telling me to add an account out of the blue seems very sketchy to me.
Please, if you have dealed with this or similar, I’ll appreciate an insight on what to do. So far I think I have no issue but just in case I wanna be ready.

A couple of years sounds rough, are they union negotiations? My impression is that unions are more rare in the US. I know that they exist, but it seems like it’s far from the norm.

That message also seems sketchy to me. I think you’re right in not engaging with any of that. While I have never experienced anything like that myself, I think it might a good idea to pass this along to Discord support. Let them look into it and see if it’s some sort of scam.
