Despite the COVID Variants being apparent things for the most part are slowly going back to normalcy, now when I mean slow I do mean slow. Progress is progress though and I wanna share some stuff related to my job.
Firstly, we made the parking lot in collaboration with LVHN to make a COVID Vaccine distribution site.
Secondly , the new water park attraction that was slated to open up last year is now opening up this year. You’ll see me say this a lot but I’m really eager to see how they can regulate a water park amidst a pandemic. This seems like a sure thing right now, but other than that here is a very boring live feed of said attraction.
Thirdly, since I am part of the Leadership Team and also part of the Food and Beverage department I got some interesting additions one such thing is implementing a food truck in the park that will serve items from other sister parks. I’m hoping we don’t use cheese on a stick because that’s what was iconic for Ohio.
Lastly, We plan on being open the whole season this time and with that being said we are reintroducing the seasonal tradition that is Haunt. It’s essentially just Halloween Attractions for kids during the day and teenagers/adults at night. I spoken about this back in 2019 where I had the pleasure to legally be certified to be Bartender in Pennsylvania.
I’m very interested to see how this is gonna work cause of COVID since the Haunt attractions aren’t exactly up to social distancing standards, but I’ll provide some type of update to this when I learn more about it.
It’s always been there, just COVID messed up the 2020 season where instead of opening in may we opened in early July. Everything is going as normal as normal can get right now and we open in early May for 2021.
I just purchased some tickets to a Braves spring training baseball game in March. It seems like MLB is on the same plan as your park. Reduced capacity at the stadium and all sorts of social distancing rules will be in place. I’m excited to see some stuff coming back towards normal.
We’re doing okay, people are pretty happy with how well the vaccine rollout is going here (especially considering how much we’ve cocked up the rest of the pandemic). Think we’re working on a mix of Oxford-Astro and Pfizer vaccines
So, just decided to use my Speedo Bearmon shirt in public these last few days. So far, no one seems uncomfortable or asking too manye questions. Lovely!
