Honestly you can start from Yakuza: Like A Dragon. The first six technically seven games are good but play different to 7 and 8 while also being seven games that are the same beat-em-up.
You might be a little lost in parts of 7 and 8 but you can always fill in gaps with a wiki if you have no clue what is going on or you can go play the previous games.
You can’t merely “work up” to a Yakuza game, I legit think (and in no way is it a bad thing) there is a huge disparity between the Pre and Post Zero crazy.
And the thing is Majima Everywhere (as you can see that is Majima and he is everywhere) still isn’t the craziest the series has to offer.

That is how most of us Americans pronounce it. It’s wrong, but I know I’m fighting a losing battle on this one, and I need to maintain my energy correcting people on what an implosion is, so I let this one slide, usually.

and not (going by the phonetic spelling) Cray-on

Meh, regional differences exist. It doesn’t make one right or the other wrong. We grew up with what we grew up with. We will always view those who do things different than we do as “wrong” but to them, we’re the wrong one. It’s just life.

I have heard both Crayon and Cran used, but always regarded “cran” as a lazy way of saying it since it seemed like the “yaw” part was being ignored.
There are other things that are just as weird or silly. The whole .gif thing. And that one time I heard someone say the word “vittles” when reading the word victuals. I thought they were a bit dumb for saying it differently from how it was obviously spelled. 
I later learned it was one of those archaic words from medieval times or whenever… And that was somehow the correct pronunciation.

In freedom units, it was 89.6 at 8:30 with today’s high being 100 and tomorrow being 95 with a chance of rain.

Was preparing to write more positive text about this, but this is life.
Have failed my driving test today as they said due to overtaking a cyclist on a crossing.
Won’t argue with that as I don’t remember that crossing there, I have been focused on surroundings and oncoming traffic, and seems like I’ve passed it and then did the maneuver.
Still this little thing ruined everything.
