What's New....?

All that makes sense, guess I shut my brain off there for a sec lol. Had a look at the guidelines in my country and they’re similar. Yet, I’ve never seen anyone adhere to the watch rule and gloves were optional or if you had a cut.

What type of establishment do you work for?

I don’t work but I have definitely seen a lot of health infractions here. Of course, regional factors are very important, but it depends a lot on the common sense of the people.

I’m gonna guess the corporation will hide behind “food safety” on that, but secretly it’s bc they are tired of employees using an iwatch to text.

@TheChicken sorry Mano! That dress code is pretty regimented. I’m glad they are giving you 2 shirts. Ideally you get a couple new ones each year. No one wants to do laundry every other day.

While personal belongings is a case by case basis on what they allow and when they allow especially within Employee Guidelines set by corporations when it comes to the usage of personal devices.

The truth is far simpler.

The FDA exists to create the ground rules for any and all establishment that would serve Food and Beverages. This then trickles down to varying rules from the State, which can trickle down to the Company in Question who might have their own unique rules and regulations.

Ergo, the FDA code explicitly states what’s prohibited and what’s allowed. Plain Wedding Bands are Allowed, but something like Smart Watches aren’t allowed on your wrist.

The Corporation will adhere to these standards, but they might allow the worker to have their watch on their belt loop, but this is a case by case basis.

I’m not arguing the federal regs. I just know a bunch of places that don’t care. Little family owned places and giant corporations included. I never took my watch off working the pizza line or serving. The bosses all had a watch on as well, but that would not* stop them from making a pizza if things got behind.

It’s funny what regulations companies follow to the letter of the law and which ones they do their best to skirt around (or lobby to get changed).

On the bright side him Seagal will have so much to talk about.

And yet, paradoxically, nothing to say.

Nonsense, if I know anything about Seagal is that you never have nothing to say if you just make up everything you talk about.

They used to not get along. Steven was shit talking and questioning Claude’s fighting record (this was back in the 90s) and eventually Claude challenged him to a fight and Steven never manned up to it. Stallone tells the whole story in a funny way. No idea if old age has mellowed them into being friends or not.

The only mellowing Seagal has done is marshmallowing. When people say he has grown softer with age they aren’t talking about his demeanour.

Maybe softer in the head. How’d that ugly motherfucker ever become an action star, anyway?

Back when he was thin and had the pony tail? And Aikido seemed like an “exotic” and effortless martial art (as long as they guy running at you agrees to make you look good), it’s no wonder he got roles. But I suspect his physical talent was more of a selling point than his acting talent.
There was at least one movie that made him seem like he was all about saving the environment/Earth… And who doesn’t love saving the Earth? amiright?

The only thing bigger than his waistline is his ego.

a man with a beard is holding a carrot in his hand .

He was in a few good flicks…

Hard to Kill was great, Underseige was his best, he had a small part in executive decision, the environment one that was good was On Deadly Grounds, and then years later he was already fat but he was good in Exit Wounds.

The rest of them all sucked.

He was also in The Onion Movie, but not sure if he was good in it.

I mean the last time he was good in a film, you could still by Crystal Pepsi. And I am being very generous in this assessment.

The late 80’s and 90’s was the begining, middle and end of his golden era IMO.
