Oh… Well, this is definitely different. I was about to say that I noticed the other day, when you highlight something, then click the gear, you have more options. 
I’d wager this is stemming from the work(?) where they had the categories page showing when logging in fresh. And that’s been… What? A couple of months now? Edit: they also dropped the log-in window to direct you to a different page (the log-in page).
