Today was the first day of Park Operations at my job. Lack of a better way to put it today was opens urban dictionary a Clusterfuck.
Firstly, I was informed today that corporate changed their mask policy to where you can freely roam the outside portion of the park without a mask. The only time you need to wear a mask is when you are inside.
Secondly, my stand was missing a lot of basic elements needed to function. For our non food workers and chefs on the forum this specific fryers have these little shelf looking things to lay fryer baskets on these look different depending on the type of fryer with some being like a rod looking thing and others being a detachable piece you got to clean. Lack of a better way to put it I got one of those detachable ones and those thing essentially went missing. This creates the inconvenience that it where do I put the fryer basket when the food is donāt and any excess oil needs to drip off? That whole being a inconvenience at best I simply just stole from a stand that wasnāt gonna open.
Finally, minor labor laws are a big thing here in America. These laws very between states as well with some federal regulations as well. Iām very stingy with making sure we donāt break these laws especially since my job gets a hefty fine and myself and my boss get a nice lecture from the director of the F&B department. Long story short I made a very good break schedule for all the stands, but only the one I was left in charge of actually didnāt get close to any labor law violations let alone break one.
Feeling petty. Got spoiled on who won the Eurovision final. Canāt get the BBC iPlayer to work on my TV so I guess I have to watch it on my computer. Turns out, for some reason despite it being aired live on BBC One, the BBC iPlayer doesnāt have the Eurovision final at the moment. I just want to watch the sodding thing because I had to work during it.
I know it doesnāt matter much but I just feel so irritated.
Reminds me of that kid on Twitch who aired a boxing match or something, but put himself in the corner so it looked like he was playing a boxing video game. BBC iPlayer should get it soon, it just says ācoming soonā on their website, despite the fact this should be available as soon as the final started airing. Again, being petty, Iām just so annoyed.
And my aunt was able to drive up from Chicago for the first time in a year and a half. The two of us had a nice walk along the banks of the majestic Flat River this morning.
Itās been a while since things have felt so normal.
I wrote a script for a video I might make later. Itās about one of those games that isnāt Hitman but I still like. I talk too much to people who know me so it might do me some good to spare them and talk at strangers.
Just trying to think of the logistics of how to record it and make it not look terrible.

Well, it has been a setbof crappy days. First my grandma had an attack and now she canāt do anything herself anymore but at least she is stable now even if stubborn as ever.
Second bullshit to worsen it all, my cat Chon died yesterday because some bastard poisoned him.
He was the brother of Chano, my other cat that died hit by a taxi like a month ago. Iām betweed deeply sad and fucking furious expecting to find out the responsible.
Also, took this last picture of Chon with my Elite figure, as remembrance because when both Chano and Chon were babies I got a photoshoot like this. Iām so upset right now.

And, I canāt imagine how sick a person can be to poison, POISON an innocent cat. Literally Unimaginable.
@UrsamRableckBearmon I am so sorry for your loss sometimes Iām kinda happy that my cats donāt go outside (normally I would say itās more ānaturalā but Iām living on a busy main road) because Iām always afraid something like that could happen the people who did that should be ashamed of themselves!!
