Winter (2024) Roadmap Speculation

For Freelancer, I still wish the Classic Fiber Wire was the one on the glass weapon cabinet next to the Collectors Coin, Collectors Crowbar etc instead of the regular version? They could have put the regular version in with the loot crates and that way, we could have both version of the Fiber Wire in Freelancer :slightly_smiling_face:

So, as content for the Fall roadmap ends with the Entertainer ET on 18th November, as per the below roadmap……….

Do we think the Winter roadmap will kick in towards the back end of November, or are we thinking it will start from early December?

My guess would be a November-January arrangement, concluding on Jan 20th as the conclusion of Year 4, and if there’s a 5, it’ll be ready to start in February.

Nah. It’s going to be the PurpleBaller!

Ok, the whole concept of the purple literally-anything-else-but-especially-a-pistol is stupid, but that’s actually a pretty awesome image.

Yeah that seems the most likely scenario.

Here’s hoping we do get a Year 5! :grin::pray:t2:

Year 5 will mark the final year of content updates and support for HITMAN WOA. So they can focus on releasing their other projects. Mark my words.

Year 6 would mark the 10 years of release of Hitman 2016, so I’m hoping at least for that.

We probably wouldn’t get a “Year 6” so much as a 10-Year Celebration of WoA Event.

Yeah I’m thinking Year 5 is a cool milestone to close out content I guess :grin:

I suppose it won’t be long until we find out?

A Year 5 will happen unless they plan on releasing one of their new titles next year, since WoA is their main income source. A Y5 would keep the game more relevant than if they didn’t.

Plus with the PSVR2 announcement, if Sony have locked it up in an exclusivity deal - it also strongly suggests a Y5 - since they wouldn’t not bring it to PC eventually.

I think Year 6 will bring another VR port.

Nintendo labo support finally

Yeah I agree. With the release of the PSVR2 in December, Year 5 content would definitely help bring in more new players that are buying the game because of the PSVR2 release.

Plus, like I’ve said above, a Year 5 would definitely be a cool milestone to close out support for Hitman WOA. To be fair, this time next year, I bet we all start talking about a Year 6 :joy:

Do you all think the next Curator batch is out this month or should I just wait for October 14th?

Just answering this question to myself because no one else did - CombatGlue is on vacation till Oct. 7th, So a week later getting a batch on the 14th makes sense.

Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern. Or at least Macaulay Culkin

I was looking at the other Freelancer-exclusive items that for now are not expected to come to the main game:

  • Water Canister
  • Chloroform Flask
  • Makeshift Remote Explosive
  • Antique Sedative Syringe
  • Assassin’s HWK21 Covert
  • Effel Tower Knife
  • And most importantly: the ICA Outstanding Service Coin

I was wandering: the Effel Tower knife would fit nicely with a challenge related to the HH Paris version. I do think it’s a possibility. I have also discovered that Effel Tower knife is a concealed knife, undetected during frisk (accroding to Hitman wikia).

Let’s see in December the news, which unlocks have been considered, if any news about the coin have been revealed.
And at the end, we will be awarded the long-awaited unlock : the Breaching Charge Mk II

(More seriously: unlocking this item would be something good to have several silenced explosive).

Wasn’t there a butcher costume rumoured at one point?

I’d like to see that happen!

As for FCs, there’s one confirmed for the 14th although I hope one drops this week too!

Tom Cruise definitely would make a perfect celebrity elusive target.
