Stumbled upon this comment by Dribble in another thread,
It got me thinking: NPCs can do finger guns, but not You in VR. 
Only fists.
This is why we need seperate thumb/fingers manipulation when open handed. (R1 to close fingers (do a finger gun!), R2 to pinch index+thumb, both for a fist)
Because you know what that makes me? Mad. 
'Cause I can only do a fist.
