Since there were a few posts about visiting Japan I thought this might make a nice poll with a choice.
You’ve won a trip to Japan, but you can only pick one travel package. The choices are below. Which do you choose?
I probably could’ve worded the poll choices better. 
- Japanese History Tour where you visit things like historic sites and temples/shrines. You will also have to ‘rough it’ a bit. Like sleep on the floor on a mat, but it’s a spacious room.
- Modern Japanese Tour where you see more present day technology. You will also have to sleep in cramped quarters, but it’s better than sleeping on a mat in the floor.

I love that the Japanese People hold Godzilla so dear in their hearts that they put several Statues of him in some of their cities.
I love them.
EDIT: and they seem to love us germans too, its a shame we don’t have more of them over here in Germany

Sure. It’d’ve been easy just to make a poll asking "Who wants to go to Japan? 
"
And the choices I’d given would’ve been “Yeah!” and “Hell Yeah!” 
Edit: Although, alternatively I could’ve asked which site / experience would you like to do first?
And with that I’d pick the history etc. tour first. Then go into the metropolitan area and go to the arcades, and karaoke bars, etc.

Well its a big part of our history, and from what I have seen there’s a weird fascinating(?) around those uniforms, especially over there.
I haven’t made this meme, so i can’t say you for sure why it’s there. I guess its the cliché german = nazi?

I am going to take the much more sensible opinion that this meme wasn’t made by a German or Japanese person but a Wehraboo weeb in America with a love of both nations worst qualities. He is using the mutual love the two nations have to each other to dogwhistle about the Nazis not being all that bad since Japan doesn’t seem to think it is all that bad.
A naive person could say it is a statement about dark tourism like what you said earlier but notice how there is absolutely nothing about Japan’s WWII conduct? (Not that it is easy, there are few victim’s memorials in Japan and most of their WWII conduct would ruin the meme)

Who chose a bitter pill? I mean in theory its awesome. But since its so easy to break into the house it kinda misses the point.

I did, for one. I just prefer the quiet atmosphere of WC to Miami. In my real life I would never attend an event like that race so the level, while good, isn’t as “me” as WC is. I don’t really care how easy or hard the target is to get to
