Yes or No...? 2

Would you rather become deaf or blind, if one of them is going to happen to you?

I really can’t decide. Deaf I guess, but I feel like half the time i’ve got my eyes closed anyway.

Being blind, how would you know when you’ve wiped enough

Well I heard once that men fall in love with thier eyes and women fall in love with thier ears so the results make perfect sense.

I already have bad vision. Like bad to the point I can’t function without my glasses, they are always the first thing I’d grab in an emergency. I don’t need it to be any worse. If I had to lose a sense I’d rather it be my hearing.

Sorry to hear that

Eh, it’s all right. I’m used to it. Been wearing glasses since I was 3. So, they are my eyes.

I chose Chaotic Good and Chaotic Neutral, judging by my first playthrough on games like Fallout and other RPGs.

@Screaming_Meat Judging by your replies above, what would you recommend fantasy-wise to someone not too inclined on the genre?

i wouldn’t

do you mean books or games? i’ve generally avoided reading straight up fantasy for all the reasons i gave earlier.

i quite like the bas-lag novels by china mieville… not sure that’s strictly fantasy, mind.

i’d say dune is more fantasy than sci-fi; the writing isn’t great but the world is really interesting (though i don’t really like herbert).

game wise, planescape torment was a pretty unique fantasy world. even though it’s part of the lotr-inspired dungeons and dragons, it eschews pretty much all of its usual trappings.

anything set in fallen london is a pleasure to read/play, like sunless sea or sunless skies, though that’s more steampunk, i guess. it reads like pg wodehouse and lovecraft got drunk and wrote a novel during their shared hangover.

house of many doors has an intriguing world, but that’s more surrealist than fantastical, though i guess they can be synonymous terms.

No, because… it doesn’t have any boss battles.

It’s up to your interpretation of boss battle. I very much consider Meet Your Brother and Redemption at Gontranno a boss battle.

Hitman 3 doesn’t have one tho. Also you’ve missed Say Hello to my little Friend :kissing_heart:

This was supposed to be more of a joke question (I should’ve made it clearer in the poll). EGS doesn’t have the best “surveys”.

Would Sanchez and Dexter technically count?

Dexter sure. Sanchez on the other hand is optional.

Some boss fights are optional. So would it still count?

I suppose it does, sure.

Hitman Absolution, you could say does, but Hitman 3? No. There are no “bosses” in Hitman 3 so there are no battles with them.

Ahhh my bad. Thought it was talking about the franchise.
And Say Hello To My Little Friend is not a boss fight. It’s a god fight cuz it’s impossible.
