Yes or No...? 2

Sean Rose. It is one thing to be locked up with someone who is a psychopath worth fearing. Another to be locked up with someone who out of panic becomes an even bigger psychopath both in the room fear.

To go back to this question for a second:

I tend to not play too many PC games that aren’t turn-based strategy these days but I used to play a bunch of Sims with one of my friends. We would make houses with (somewhat fictionalized versions of) ourselves and and a rotating cast of various historical figures (to the best of our ability). This question just reminded me of the time we put Angry Mustache Man in one of our houses and he “accidentally” started a kitchen fire that killed my Jewish friend’s avatar… :grimacing: We drowned him in the pool after that and didn’t use him again.

Electro is a joke, Doc Ock and Vulture I think are quite good. Others are alright I guess

Doc Ock and Scorpion are good imo, Rhino sucks as always and I’m still pissed they didn’t included the Lizard.

I have a bad esophageal valve so if I eat anything spicy, it’s instant heartburn. Everything I eat has to be fairly bland.

I hate spicy food so just salt, plus I’m Bri’ish and was born less than 10 miles from the ocean, so i only eat fish and chips.

Dude I’m getting there. I LOVE giardinera and I just can’t handle it anymore and it makes me sad. I don’t want to be 55 or 65 and have tummy issues so at 36 I’m restricting how often I eat too much spicy or even too much red meat etc. still once in a while though.

There is a formal scale for all this…

Scariest music that starts playing to warn the viewer something is coming
  • The theme from Jaws - Jaws
  • Man is in the forest - Bambi
  • The Monolith - 2001: A Space Odyssey

Well, you know how this one goes. Watch one of these movies, and when you start to hear that creepy ass music playing, you know that something is nearby that’s gonna make some shit go down. Whether it’s a shark, humans on the hunt, or an alien monolith, the music is what sells the buildup to the big moment. Which music is scariest?

This is a very hard one, as all three of these would make the hair stand up on the back of my neck if I were just doing something mundane, like standing in line at the checkout in a grocery story, and suddenly started hearing any of these themes playing out of nowhere. But after thinking it over carefully, I’m gonna go with the Monolith theme. Not only is it scary, but it’s unnerving, it makes you feel uncomfortable and it builds more slowly than the other two. The others just sound scary and build to the reveal of something scary, but the Monolith takes it an extra step further.

I had to be sure you weren’t talking about Also Sprach Zarathustra (been a good while)!

That music (?) that is little more than just a few notes that play and build, with what seems like cicadas or something is chilling to me.

what piece is the monolith? they’re all ‘classical’ pieces in 2001 except for one track.
