So it is a Maybe now?
Again, no… this stands as a trilogy too.
How about choosing the best one out of the three while we’re at it.
Pick one and ONLY one.
- Original Trilogy
- Prequel Trilogy
- Sequel Trilogy
Remember: There are no wrong choices here.
Except for… you know…
A decade ago this would have been a clear cut message but thanks to the internet I cannot for the life of me know if this is referring to the sequel trilogy or the prequels.
Not even the 47 spices song?
Or the Miami Lounge music.
You know so long as you never think about Episode 9 those sequel films weren’t bad. I certainly thought they were better than the prequels.
I sort of agree. TFA was tolerable if derivative. TLJ was fairly stupid and pointless, and a bit pretentious im a ‘look I’m a different star wars’ kind of way. 9 was… Yeah.
The prequels are generally garbage but III is okay. I and II even have their moments, few and far between. Would have been interesting to see those in the hands of other directors.
Last Jedi was the one I like the most even if it mostly never really nailed the execution it was looking for. I would rather an ambitious flop than Episode IX: Reddit Writes Back.
For sure, but an ambitious flop is still a flop. It’s not good. I didn’t hate everything in it though. I think RJ could’ve made a decent Disney+ show about rebel soldiers or something.
Yes but it isn’t “Somehow Palpatine returned” or “They fly now!” bad and that is enough for me from a franchise that calls itself Star Wars.
That is also playing at Ricos mansion at the outdoor party I think.
Edit: or maybe it’s the Paris fashion show music they are listening to?
The what now?
The sing that plays when you play Silvio Caruso’s home video tape in World of Tomorrow for the plague doctor kill.
If you listen to it the first line of the song is “I put 47 spices in the spaghetti and yet it still tastes like ashes in my mouth.”
Yeah, the line was stupid and a better explanation could have been given but… episode 9 did have Palpatine. The other two were like… why is this all happening?
Hell, that was the main reason I loved the prequels. Palpatine was all over them.
The line was neither stupid nor intended as an explanation for how Palpatine came back. Everyone jumping on that one line as if it was even relevant just annoys the hell out of me.
