Tnx alot man… …
what?! i had no idea!
While i dont like the concept of exclusivity, most of the Platform Exclusive Games are great, at least on Playstation with their focus mostly on story-driven single player games, thats exactly up my alley.
This isn’t about games after the PS1, their success or global appeal. Just which trilogy you prefer.

Well I’m also a big fan of the PS exclusives, but shame for the other folks that are locked out then… Hehe.
As a PC player, I´m really happy that a lot of these exclusives are making it to PC nowadays, namely the Yakuza series which I´m very excited to try (with stuff like Bloodborne and Ghost of Tsushima hopefully on the way soon). Wish Konami kept up and ported MGS3/4… (though my biggest hope would likely be SC: Double Agent V2 on PC, but that´s wishful thinking, as is RDR1)
Damn, Ghost of Tsushima, RDR1 and the God of War series on PC… A man can dream
According to a recent (yet unconfirmed) leak, GoT and GoW (the last one) might actually be coming to PC
RDR1 however…
There was a rumor circulating that R* was planning to remake / remaster RDR1 and a PC release was possible thought it’s still nothing but a rumor.

Oh wow, that´d be cool. I wouldn´t be surprised if they did a PS5 remaster, but am rather sceptical of a PC port (but still keeping some hope into the future).
There was a guy doing a RDR PC port/mod (in a way that would still require you to own/use the PS disc), but T2 put a brake on his efforts quite quickly of course…
i love rdr1 like it was my child but rdr2 is imo better in every single way.
the reason i’ve heard that they can’t port it is that the code is an absolute wreck, though i can’t find the source.
Dunno, I don’t mind the story, the missions or the slow pace but I hate the damn animations for interactions and Arthur controls like a tank. It slows things down to a crawl not too mention the whole open world trap that every dev falls into, over-doing it with checklists and collectables.
Yeah I’m not sure if my tastes change with time or what it was, but I loved RDR and was severely let down by RDR2 (bought it at launch and played through the story once)
Bloodborne needs a PC release tho. It’s a masterpiece and everyone should be able to play it
that’s fair enough.
i’m usually a gameplay first kinda guy but i fell deep for it. i used to spend loads of time at the camp doing chores and chatting. i love westerns and just soaked up the world. never fast travelled; just trotted around on horse back through it’s beautiful locations. took me ages to finish, but i was sad when it was over; only really get that with a good book or an album.
it was just a splendid experience for me.
my only real issue with the controls was they wouldn’t let you run and shoot nor (i think) hipfire, otherwise it was pretty much as expected for r* open world and rdr is otherwise very similar, control-wise, just floatier.
i never pay attention to collectibles, so that wasn’t an issue either.
I pre-ordered the damn thing and tried multiple times to beat it but I’d get burned out around chapter 3 and stop only to restart from the beginning a few months later. It’s just that I’m a sucker for wild west games which aren’t that many on PC. Gun, Call of Juarez and a few others but that’s it.
Yep, same
Wonder why they changed it from GTA 5, that controlled fine, same for Max Payne 3.
I think I might have OCD when it comes to collectables / checklists in games and that’s why I hate them
no idea. i uh prefer rdr2’s heft to gtav, if i’m honest. i struggled to get the player character to do what i wanted there, whereas i rarely had that trouble with rdr2. hell, gtaiv felt better to me!
mp3, on the other hand, had just the right balance between being light on his feet and bulky. no idea why they don’t lift it wholesale.
I liked GTA 5 controls better than RDR2, but the story for RDR2 is longer and better imo. Then again, I have no intention of replaying RDR2 (partially because I feel like the story is done and partially because the controls were terrible–why do you keep putting away my guns AAAAAA) and I’ve beaten GTA5 at least 6 times at this point.
