Yes or No...? 2

I don’t think that is as strong an endorsement for Tokyo as you think it is…

Hey now I voted for Tokyo as well you know. It is cherry blossom season over there so all the Japanese cherry are in bloom. Means there is never a better time to go.

Tokyo is really amazing, but you should look into how much more a triangle ticket would be. Home :airplane: Seoul :airplane: Tokyo :airplane: Home. Then you don’t have to fly all the way across the world again just to see the other one (=

If you’re flying in/out of NRT instead of HND then spend a half day in Narita proper and see the temple there. It’s breathtaking. The train between NRT and downtown Tokyo stops in Narita.

It’s defiantly something I could look into, but that said I don’t mind taking another trip down the line. However as a start I’ll go with one country, I just need to decide between the two destinations.

Well I have not been to Korea, but Tokyo is wonderful and can be done in a shorter trip such as 3 or 4 nights where you don’t feel like you missed the “must do” items, but if you have longer you will still have plenty to do and see. Even if you had 14 nights you wouldn’t be out of things to do and see bc you can always hop a bullet train to another city in Japan. If you choose Tokyo send me a PM and I’ll give you my 3 or 4 fav spots.

I’m planning a 7-9 days trip, right now I’m doing a lot research on both countries.

I haven’t been to Korea yet sadly, so can’t give any insights, but am hoping to do a Seoul/Korea trip once the situation allows for it (hopefully I’m still in Tokyo by that time), since it’s universally said to be much cheaper than Tokyo/Japan.

On the other hand, I can’t recommend Tokyo enough obviously. As Yacob mentions, you can do the must-see stuff here in 3-4 nights and you’d still be left with a lot of things to do and see. This place is so full of distinct areas that feel nothing like what you’d imagine Tokyo to be like that I’ve still only scratched the surface (but that may also be because I’m broke most of the time and can’t do as much exploring as I’d like to lol).

But if you choose Tokyo, it might definitely be worth including trips to other places in Japan as well (the inconvenience being that Tokyo is pretty far from most of those, but there are shinkansen discount passes, cheap domestic flights, or night buses when it comes to it).

I’m pretty curious as to which those are…

I think it will be years before I eat jam again. Some people just shouldn’t have internet access.

I dont like jam at all, i only eat cold cuts and cheese and stuff.

I could easily eat jam with a spoon straight from the jar. Just like my Grandpa.

I hate to point this out but meat and jam aren’t the same thing… Also not fond of jam either unless it is in a donut or something.

I wish I had at least two options to pick.
My favourites are strawberry, apple (pie?), and pear jams

No cherry / sourcherry jam. What is this heresy?!

Jam and Cheese is the stuff of legends.

I think the list of jams is missing one type of jam…

I mean there are plenty of cheeses that have fruits in them. I mean I wouldn’t eat them but still…

Well, I myself am a simple person.
If it’s called cheese, I know I’m going to love it.
No matter how weird and wacky it is.
