I need help. Have all 3 hitman games and the challenges that ate giving me the biggest problems are silent assassin and sniper assassin. For some aparent reason I’ve only managed to acquire credit for about a dozen of the 50+ challenges. Over the past 3 days have made over 30 attempts and even went to you tube. Nothing there helped. What am I doing wrong?

Do you have the Silent Assassin tracker active? It shows during a mission whether you are currently SA or not by its color and shows up next to the minimap. If you keep an eye on it, you will be able to notice when and hopefully also why you lost the SA status.
You can also check the detailed stats after a mission is completed to see for what you received penalties.
PS: For Sniper Assassin it’s not just a matter of killing the targets with a sniper rifle. If I remember correctly you also should not get spotted and not kill any non-targets.
