GTA VI is a very strong contender in the Most Anticipated category. In fact I’d be highly surprised if GTA doesn’t win that category.
GTA IV’s story is so good people still anticipate it 17 years later! Total Niko Bellic victory!
GTA IV might still turn out to be the better game compared to First Light.
But I’m gonna fix my typo anyway ![]()
Bit off topic, I guess, but I could not care less about Grand Theft Auto anything beyond it being a good test ground for the eventual Red Dead Redemption 3, which I would happily stand in line for. I haven’t played a Grand Theft Auto game since the very first one and have zero interest in playing any of the newer ones. I am far more excited about First Light than anything having to do with Grand Theft Auto…
If you like the RDR games, you might like GTA4. It’s the most similar GTA game as far as realism and tone go. It’s still a ridiculous characature of American society but it feels less like a cartoon than the others, particularly 5 (which I’m not a fan of aside from the online mode).
It’s kind of weird seeing the words “newer ones” being used in regard to GTA, when the last two came out 12 and 17 years ago respectively…
(On a side note, you might find Vice City’s 80’s aesthetic appealing?)
This looks very promising overall ![]()
Looking forward for more updates ![]()
007 First Light will be at the Xbox partner preview on the 20th
During Xbox Partner Preview, we’ll show you an exciting first look at content coming to 007 First Light,…
If they were cheeky, they could show the same first look as last time, but hopefully it will indeed be new footage. ![]()
007 first light was also nominated for The Game Awards, Most Anticipated Game
Most Anticipated Game
- 007 First Light

Don’t expect a win.
But being on the short list is an achievement in itself.
No Slay The Spire 2: list invalid, nuke from orbit.
GTA6 going to release in 2028 with four “most anticipated game awards”

We got a freakin’ car advert.
I…am not sure if I should be shocked or impressed at IO’s audacity to pull such a stunt.
The Bond franchise has always been about product placement. Fleming wrote Bond as an expense account brat and the films capitalized on this. It doesn’t surprise me this has leaked into the games.
You know, when I watch a showcase for a new game releasing, do you know what I want to see?
Gameplay of the new game releasing, not a CGI cutscene that prominently features a car almost nobody can buy. That’s like…the bare bloody minimum!
No, this was tone deaf. Or someone lost a bet. Either way, I would’ve preferred them re-run the old trailer from September because that at least shows gameplay!
To be fair, I had never heard of this event before, so I suppose it’s not the place for big announcements.
The wording " first look at content" makes sense now. It was just “some” or “a piece of” content.
A hypercar? You know, I never bothered claiming the twitch rewards but I might make an exception for this one. Do I have to make sure a parking place is free at some date? I need to know in advance please.
