Wow, so now thatā€™s the second semi-reskin of a Deluxe Suit as a twitch drop. (Normal/Gold Skeleton Suit and now Normal/Gilded-Shoulders Boat Captain)

Whoever at IOI is setting these upā€¦ please keep doing that :3

Not to get all conspiratorial, but due to the timing, I do wonder if they are trying to control the narrative with this, and it is really also about First Light meeting sales expectations.

Canā€™t get past the paywall myself, but on headline alone Bloomberg reckons that Microsoft/Xbox gave IOI the elbow on this one.

EDIT - I should also say that Iā€™m really sorry for everyone at IOI whoā€™s about to lose their job and I hope they end up in new employment ASAP. Hoooowever, on a purely selfish basis I have absolutely zero interest in Project Fantasy, and Iā€™d much prefer IOI to concentrate all their resources on making the next Hitman game, and a First Light sequel once H9 is resourced-out-the-ass.

It is due to Microsoftā€™s massive incoming layoffs and cost cuttings as itā€™s financial year is ending today. Very sad. Iā€™m expecting a lot of bad news tomorrow.

I donā€™t think the next Bond film enter production until Denis Villeneuve is finished with production on Dune Part 3. Itā€™s still 5 months and 7 days away from releasing.

But what do I know? But like Nolan, heā€™s very involved. I donā€™t think he would take the job, without being fully involved in the process.
