I might actually dust off my PSVR headset for this. I got it way back, and the only game I played briefly was the Horizon one (and ofc HITMAN). But this actually has me interested. New ways to mess up some Freelancer runs - here we go!

I’m not sure if this is intentional, but since this season launched I haven’t been able to run while crouched. 47 just walks, so to “work around” the issue I have to stay standing in-game and crouch physically. NPCs can still see me, though, since 47 is technically standing, just slightly lower.
I really hope IOI fixes this issue in the next update.

I feel like, possibly, maybe, the fact they just list VR and not specifically PSVR2, might be pointing towards this being an update across more than one platform?

I really like playing Hitman in VR - honestly, but I cannot stand the dual wield mechanic. That isn’t how real guns work. You can’t aim two guns simultaneously unless your target is about 10 feet away.
But if someone were a highly trained assassin, could they use guns that way? Why would that be limitation on the firearms? It’s not. One could get a feel for where they’re aiming without having to look down both barrels simultaneously. You’re not relying so much on eye-sight as you are of having a feeling for the 3-Dimensional space. Like how one might be able to toss a basketball behind their head without seeing the basket. You might check once to see where it is in relation to your position, but once the head is turned you’re relying on the “map” or basket’s position inside your head. I would know, I’ve done it before. Or, at least, that’s how I can reason how holding 2 guns at once to fire at different targets should work.
And besides, with VR, you’re going to have the aim-lines anyway.
Are they going to implement dual wielding into the main game as well? Probably not, but it would be nice if they did, even if it’s really late in the game’s life..
