”VR update is coming soon.
Stay tuned for more information, Agents.”
As a resident xbox player, I’m uncertain.
Freelancer to VR?
(I don’t know if it’s already part of it)
If it isn’t. And so teased to soon be.
Then, neat!
Great job to the team.
(lessons learned campaign when though )![]()
If that’s what I think it is… i will literally freak out
Now do this when going down the stairs, I dare you.
Regarding the VR update, does this include PSVR1?
Which hardware are we talking about?
PSVR or PSVR2 or Steam or META?
gonna immediately fall down those stairs in VR

I’m sure the 23 people that care about the VR mode are excited.
I post regularly on the PSVR2 reddit, and I can assure you that way more than 20-ish people play and enjoying WOA on VR.
OT, this would be an amazing addition to an already amazing package, and hopefully comes with a few fixes (for instance, I’m pretty sure the gunfight mission story on Berlin cannot be activated in VR as the club owner’s phone book does not drop while playing in VR).
Come on.
I think it’s a worthwhile addition and care that should be celebrated.
It might not be for our particular selves (again xbox player), but this is exactly the sort of thing we keep asking for.
Patching, improvement, care of the game as a game not just a product.
Except the last time they “improved” VR it introduced a ton of bugs to the PS5 version of the game, most of which have yet to be acknowledged, let alone fixed.
I would much prefer they fix what they themselves broke before doing…whatever this is.
To be perfectly honest, I think IO are late to the VR trend and are just trying to make money off of new players interested in it before that bubble bursts. VR is just niche, hence the “dozens of us! joke” Thrison was making. And PSVR2…VR…is quite different to PCVR (which is quite a bit more complicated to set up).
…which is undermined by the fact that the mode was a timed exclusive with Sony for a year, and this is CombatGlue’s first post on here in over a month, where the post feels suspiciously like advertising a mode that should’ve been added ages ago. Their care seems awfully product-motivated, not user-motivated.
Call me cynical if you want, but if you look at their Twitter/ Bluesky, the company is either trying to get people to pre-order 007 First Light, or they give out stats on The Banker. That’s their priorities right now.
EDIT: Edited for clarity.
Which is a much bigger deal than IO seem to realise. Knowing that they’re aware of issues so that you get some assurance that its being worked on is huge - instead of making people cross their fingers and hoping it makes the next patch notes (it never does).
The VR upgrade is only ten dollars. It’s a lot of value and everyone in the psvr2 community is racing about it.
Also, this has nothing to do with the crappy psvr 1 version so not sure how that’s relevant as a comparison to pcvr. Psvr2 is very much on par with modern VR headsets and is actually used in pcvr by many people as their main headset. Hitman WOA also is one of the best selling and rated titles on psvr2.
I AM AND THANK YOU

(If it’s Freelancer I might just spend more time playing Hitman VR
Don’t get me wrong the campaign’s great, but the main missions are like a 45-1h timesink for me, especially if I wanna be SA perfect. Or if I get VR sick, whichever comes first. Only at Colorado in VR so far, that’s daunting.)
It could also be an update to the PC VR editions with all the VR2 upgrades! That would also be good.
It HAS been 6 months since its release, and I know Sony tend to do exclusive deals for 6, 12, 18 months-kinds of periods so, it’s possible!)
Not unless they’ve fixed the multitude of bugs in the flat game that currently exist on PS5 exclusively because of PSVR2. As it stands, the game is severely broken.
They need to fix all of that before porting it to PC is remotely a good idea.
That is also true, I forgot about that ![]()
I only really play Hitman once a month now probably, unless there’s some big new update like with Le Chiffre.
I’ve never been big on Featured Contracts and I don’t totally care about the 1/2 challenges they release every few months just to boot the game up for, so I’m still quite behind on a few unlocks/challenges (or new bugs).
I’m at the level 80-100 grind on Freelancer now, so my progress is slow and my weapon wall keeps going up and down (due to lost weapons or campaigns) I also try to avoid cheesing the game to win (like avoiding certain locations, Syndicates, or save scumming) so… I play Freelancer every now and then, but definitely feeling the slow (unsuccessful) grind of it and it kinda puts me off of it.
Sure I’ll get back in the groove someday.
Okay, I should’ve clarified, I’m talking about PSVR2.
Thought that was obvious by me saying PS5, but oh well.
Welcome to the Desert.
Thank you. Using my my silly straw to suck up whatever content comes raining down every now and then.

I hope the incoming storm clouds of the Fall and Winter ETs are good, and I hope the Co-Op Mode proves substantial too. ![]()
