A Tie to Die For

I’ll try it again. But if they open the door, can you manually close it again?

I’m still wiring the target when they open the door so no.

I haven’t had a chance to try but what about when the target exits the door, what if you throw the brick that’s laying there beside the bin into the room to cause a quick little distraction, then quickly wire target?

I would suggest do a high/far toss so you can possibly close the door so the target doesn’t hear the distraction noise.

You are right, they did change. Luckily for that smuggle point right there at the start, i added the big one as a way to occupy everyone else inside.

Great solution! I love wiring that target. The bigger they are, the harder they go down.

Just finished End of an Era, which was easy. Repair Hush’s relaxation thing and get Imogen in her office while her guard is busy taking away a weapon you put down in his’field of view.

I already know how to get Yates because I did it before. Tamara will probably be the last big puzzle in this particular endeavour.

I just managed the Ex-Dictator. Hard to believe how easy that was. Put a suitcase in the corner room under 47’s room, the ex dictator will come and get it, isolating himself. Hide his body so it’s behind the double doors when they open, leave the suitcase where it was. His daughter will walk in a couple of moments after, I guess to look for him. Again isolating herself. As soon as they’re dead there is no more trespassing area, and nobody comes to check the room for bodies, so no need to hide them.

Load-out: briefcase with electronic keyhack and fiber wire.

The Iconoclast was also quite easy. Lure away her guard with a dropped gun near the flower patches (which he will take to a place you can easily recover it), lure Joanna with a thrown coin into the flower patch and presto.

An easy and welcome distraction to Tamara Vidal who is a real headscratcher so far, but admittedly I haven’t been able to put much time into thinking up a strategy and pinning down her route and opportunities.

Jinxed it of course. Did what I described without a hitch on several arcade runs, but with the actual ET the guard carrying away the weapon spotted me on his way downstairs just as I wired Joanna. Still managed to get away but ruined SA. Just a word of warning that it’s not a 100 percent foolproof.

I think I need help with Tamara Vidal. Haven’t been able to put much time in, feeling a bit burned out.

Any approaches on how to get her with the fiber wire, suit only, no KO’s, no emetics and Silent Assassin?

The corridor behind the asado area, as Vidal goes/return to/from the security hub, might be your best bet.
(I’m not certain, I’m going from old memories.)

It will demand to send hers and Diana bodyguards away.
Placing weapons on the ground/the stairs to send them away temporarily could do the trick.

(my theory play would be: let her go down to the security hub, place weapons in the stairs, fiber wire her as she coming back just before she passes though the exit door, hide her in the closet next to it)

Trigger the meeting with Vidal in the cinema area - leave out the side door before the trespassing area/combat kicks in during her speech. She’ll then walk out through the door to head back upstairs and you’ve got a small window to garrote her before she’s on the stairs. Then you can dump the body over the railing to hide it.

The camera above somehow misses all of this happening. :joy: Shoot it once you’re done to avoid having to wipe the tapes.
