I’m trying to come up with a list of all the sleeping NPCs in Hitman 3/WOA for contract purposes, but I haven’t been able to locate any such thing so far. There are of course the obvious cases like the napping guard in the basement in New York, but I’ve also seen a couple of random NPCs who are straight up in their beds asleep at home. I think Landslide or The Author had some, and I have a hazy memory of Chongqing having one as well.
Does anyone have such a list or a way to generate it? Thanks!
There are many in Ambrose, in fact there’s a featured contract based on them. Some guards sleep in the Marrakesh school. A few isolated sleeping guards can be found in NY, Miami and Dubai. Can’t remember any in Landslide or The Author 
Of all the sleeping NPCs, I like the drunk guy in the restroom in Berlin the best.
There are at least three in Bangkok, Julian (naked guy in Jackie’s suite) and two band members on the birthday party floor.
Bangkok also has the guard who sleeps in a chair next to the entrance to the staff area behind the hotel.
And there are the band members in Santa Fortuna.
Sean Rose’s bodyguard will go to sleep if he loses Sean.
There is one NPC in Santa Fortuna… His eyes aren’t closed, but they might as well be. He sits in a chair directly from the default starting location. When he’s sitting you can do pretty much anything illegal in front of him (granted it doesn’t make a sound) and you will not get compromised by him. It’s AS IF he were asleep.
There is also the hungover musician there.
Best would be to run each levels and do a quick run around to list them.
Looks like I might just need to go through each level and find them, yeah. Started with The Author because I knew I remembered some being there.
As far as I can tell there are three. First we have this sleepy guy by the toilets near the church.
Next up, this waiter, sleeping with a bat next to him (and a crowbar across the room, and a disguise on a chair nearby, in case you needed one I guess).
And finally, in the unit usually occupied by our favorite shirking kitchen assistant, we have a guy curled up on the floor in a drunken stupor. His apartment somehow also has a camera control box conveniently inside it, right next to his epic gamer setup. Interestingly, he is one of the targets of the Hitman 1 escalation The Lyndon Gyration, though in that one he is walking around town.
