i have no idea why brexit would be a buzzword. and in my local media buzzwords aren’t on the rise more than at any other time. i guess ā€œbuzzwordā€ is a buzzword nowadays

i think it was more of an exception to the rule. i mean, how many times people replayed mumbai or sapienza? and how many hawkes bay?

i’m not basing quality as an abstract thing on it. i’m basing quality for replayability on it and it does make perfect sense because we can use both logic and a previous example of h2 to prove that more mastery=more content for contracts, escalations, bonus missions etc. the reason for that is obviously that the mastery is added after making the level. it’s a way for the developers to tell the player how much there is to do. it’s not really something you can argue about

so, to sum up, i do believe i will enjoy the level we are getting. the reason i was disappointed (and still kinda am) is that they promised 6 big levels instead of what we will apparently play. if i were to make a choice whether we get the game this way or the other way i’d choose the one with 6 big ones. still, it may very well be great with a small one

Mendoza looks stunning, gives me a bit of Anathema vibes and also a bit of Witcher 3 Blood and Wine. That said I don’t think there will be many vampires to find in Argentina compared to Toussaint

would have been easier if you guys would have redacted the Locations in the free Copies for the Youtubers :man_shrugging:

What if you have been playing 3-D chess on IO’s 4-D board? What if this was all an elaborate plan for a desired effect?

highly doubt that. sometimes i ask myself why i still buy or pre order Games, when like 10 Days before release everything is on YouTube.

But it“s definitely gonna have more bloom compared to Toussaint :smirk:

If 47 could say ā€œThe Wind is howlingā€ that would be swell. That might fit Carpathian Mountains more though. It looks a bit windy.

Hello, guys. I’m new here.
I’m a long time fan of the series and I already preordered the game on PS4 (waiting to purchase a PS5).
I must say that I’m slightly disappointed about today news. There is gonna be spoilers in here so stop reading if you don’t know anything about it.
After Hawke Bay in Hitman 2, I was expecting full 6 maps in 3 and while quantity it’s not better than quality, I don’t know how to feel about this. Hakwe Bay was good, a great Splinter Cell feeling level, but it was extremely short.
I live in Argentina (yeah, we have Mendoza represented in H3 so I can’t wait to see it) and here the price of the dollar is insanely expensive so spending 60 dollars in a game like I did it’s a lot of money.
That’s why I value most the content than the overall quality. I already preordered because I want to support IO but if I have to be honest, I’m not feeling very good atm.
Again, I don’t how to feel about 5 maps for 60 dollars. I don’t count NZ or this last map as full levels because for obvious reasons. Both are short and not very replayable. Yeah, I didn’t play the last level of H3 yet, but it’s extremely easy to assume this. With the 5 lvl mastery, it’s obvious the level it’s gonna be really smal, linear and without interesting challenges (also, it’s a train, duh).
Regardless, I’m sure I will enjoy it, but I would have preferred if it was an extra level, like a surprise map after full 6 locations. That would have been amazing to discover.
Also, the game was advertised different and this it’s important to remember. They promised 6 full locations so they lied again, like they did with Hitman 2 and Hawke Bay. It’s the second time they lie blatantly. You guys also rememebr when they promised elusive targets for H2? Yeah, see what happen to that in comparison to H1. And also the tiny amount of Escalations.
So yeah, sorry if the post it’s negative. I don’t want to bring the mood down or anything. I’m just being honest here.
I’m sure I will enjoy this game 100% and that’s the most important factor, but I’m just making an opinion based on today news. It’s was probably my fault for preoreder. I should have waited a few months to play it in the PS5 and to buy it at 20 dollars, but whatever, it’s what it is.
The last level could be fantastic, but I would preferred a Hokkaido or Sgail situation. No contest.
That’s all.

you should blur some spoilers about the mission since this thread is only for uninformed speculation

Finally a moving train! That mission certainly looks intriguing.

Where are you people getting those screenshots?

I don’t know if ā€œoverpriceā€ is an argument. I eventually totally dislike only 5 sandbox locations but, before judging, I want to know the amount of post launch support. If it will be large (bonus mission and stuff), i will be fine with it
