AMBROSE ISLAND, Andaman Sea (Mission #7) - Location Discussion

Nah you just need to not start arguments on forums. Problem solved! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Well, I tried. Let the Heralds sort it out. :man_shrugging:

I think when you start off your comment with ā€œbrother in Christ!ā€ and continue with ā€œhe’s annoyingā€ then we both know what his intention was from the get-go.

No, lol

It reminded me of snake and/or scorpion wines, which is actually an ancient and folk thing in Asia.

Instead of a snake marinating in rice wine, I can definitely imagine (the smell of) an emetic bottle of rotting frog instead :joy:

Dear Speedrunners, it is possible to hit the light switch on the tower with a silverballer if you highlight switch with instinct. The best place to be is on the rooftop above the mechanic. It is really risky though because there are eyes everywhere. I’ve tried it consistently a couple of times now.

Too slow regardless tbh.

How anti-climactic :broken_heart:

I also naturally followed the Farah’s lady quest for my first run, but the moment I spotted the opportunity I ran towards the cannon I remembered from the Challenge icon.

So that was my first room. Had a pocket full of nearly everything on the map, about 1h30m into it. Still lots to do for the rest of the challenges.

Killed Crest by repairing his boat and sabotaging the oil barrel. Went for the control unit and used a screwdriver to remove the panel, a knife to cut the wires and then deactivate it. Then I killed Akka by freeing the hostages and electrocuting her in the empty cell. Exfiltrated on the Western Beach.

My opinion:
too few challenges. the map is so fun and can’t enjoy it enough. but there’re only 53 challenges, that’s… just not enough. wish to see more interesting challenges afterwards. And where are the classic challenges? they are missing… the current number of challenges are even not enough to get mastry level 20…
too dark, my eyes pain after playing for a while… it could be better if it’s a bit brighter…
and, too much Spanish… Andaman Sea is never a Spainish conlony and it’s not a place attracting immigrates like US, so people there should mostly be locals… It’s weird for them to speak Spanish… Once I took a shot and got spotted, and I heard civilians crying ā€œPor favor!ā€ That’s… strange… Just let all of them speak the Indian accent English is good enough.

You’re confusing stupidity with forgetfulness, which ironically, is stupid of you. :scream:

I think that animation is originally from when 47 pushes Franco off the cliff.

Ah! So it is. Very well spotted!

Continuity consistency bravo IOI!!!

I have a really good double kill strategy from inside the meeting room, but for some reason npcs can spot me through the walls. Anybody else having this same issue?

Please i need help…

Where can i find the note made into paper plane ?? Its part of ā€œpenned palā€ chalenge…

Howdy, you can find it along the winding trail behind Akka’s compound. Go across the stone bridge and just past the old ruined tower, go left and you should find it in a tree.

Yeah, the bridge kill is by far the closest to it, even if it is in essence the same concept like the Haven trap door, but it is something we canĀ“t do in any other mission. The Molotov is somewhat ā€œuniqueā€ (as in itĀ“s only in this level) until one unlocks it via mastery and starts using it elsewhere  Just wish they came up with something completely new that would make me revisit this mission more often.

While not related to kills, the one unique new thing this mission brings is the ability to use the GPS tracker to create two additional extraction points. For once, Grey is actually being useful and doing something other than yapping.
