Just kinda picturing all the Pirates on Ambrose with 47 in his Swashbuckler suit blending in.

Well, I woke up this morning to like 200+ new posts in this, so I understood something had happened. I tried scrolling through it all to see if there had been some kindof analysis, but didn’t see anything too indepth (sorry to whoever did it, if I missed it).

Here’s mine:

We’ve seen this already, but in conjunction with some other pictures this will become more interesting. Notice, however, that it seems like the building in the back either has another floor built on top of it, or the level of the terrain is higher and we’re simply seeing another building.

This looks distinctly different from the beach, and also from other later pictures of the village. Looks like a path out of the village and into a jungle area.

We’ve seen this bridge already, but the question is where it leads. Maybe to the fortress ruins that we’ll see later…? (certainly not the radio tower, as can be seen in the following pics).

Buildings in the water, like in Haven Island. I’m assuming the “disguises becoming wet” effect from Haven will carry over.

The angle of the beach is interesting. I can’t immediately see that the first picture is of the same area. Boats and buildings don’t seem to match. You can’t see the radio tower. This area is lit up, the previous is not.
Maybe there’s two sides of the village? One public (with lights), and one less so?

It’s very clear from here that the radio tower is placed at sea level, and thus is not where the bridge in an earlier picture leads. This looks like it ties into the “dark side” of the island.

A little bar area at the bright, public, side of the island. Hopefully for something more interesting than just a poisoning kill (though obviously that as well).

Seems like there’s prison cells on the island. And a prisoner. Maybe Agent Smith?

Obvious target is obvious.

This third “beach” angle gives more evidence for the “two sides of the island” hypothesis, as there’s a mountain on the left side here, while in the bright side of the island, there seems to be only water.

Primary target. Of course. Is she possibly named in the trilogy? When you go back listening to dialog in the trilogy you often find references to future targets in previous maps.

Possibly a bit of a jungle area on the map? I imagine there would have to be, to lead to the bridge for instance.

These ruins could just be directly connected to the village somehow, but the picture just after this makes me think this is an old fortress used by the primary target as an HQ. This could be where the bridge leads. Though maybe it doesn’t look quite elevated enough?

Only security guards, and while clearly built in wood, it looks more like a compound than a village. I’m guessing this is inside of the fortress.

Obvious starting location, on the dark side of the island (makes sense for the infiltration style starting outfit).

For some reason I couldn’t stop hearing Epic Mickey during the trailer:

WE’RE BACK!!! Super excited with the atmosphere Ambrose Island is pulling off. The monologue reminded me of the original GTA IV trailer where Niko is talking about things he did.

I wonder how much of the Island is off limits to Suit/Civs, I think possibly a good 70% of it from the areas that seem to be only guard patrolled.

I guess it’s time to book work off - gimme those trophies :stuck_out_tongue:

Finally had a chance to see the trailer. Very exciting! But the most important question for me: Will we be able to create contracts in this map? I don’t really care about the story and usually play this mode just until I finish all the mastery-stuff.

From the roadmap article

“Discover the uncharted Ambrose Island as Agent 47, and help an old friend rectify his mistake.”

Is this “old friend”, brother and childhood friend Lucas Grey ? @Mini

Or they are pulling a twist and it’s good old buddy, good pal Agent Smith. Old friend from the previous games.
Could his whereupon be the “few gaps from the World of Assassination storyline” ? :stuck_out_tongue:

(I mean look at this man, he begs to be in dire situation)

Also I wonder if Ambrose will be part of freelancer possible location.

Looking a bit closer at this pic:

You can see that this darker, private part of the beach seems to lead to a wall entrance with lights behind it. Likely into the public part of the map. This would mean that the radio tower could be a sniper vantage point for the public part of the village, which makes sense, since the male target seems to be located there.

One possibility is that it leads into the ruins/fortress, but that seems to be on a cliffside somewhere, and this is sea level.

I don’t remember any other level that puts 47 on a long, exposed path. It could mean this is just part of the intro/exit while being otherwise inaccessible. I hope not though.

Oh, if this is part of the main map I sure hope there are options to the bridge.
It would be really strange to feature it so prominently in two videos if it isn’t actually a part of the map though.

When you´re trying to have everything nice and ready but Sony leaks your shit :joy:

Also, the roadmap description for Bangkok states “This luxury hotel and spa in Bangkok”. Spa, you say, IO? … :unamused:

looks like an updated version of the Tactical wetsuit from Nightcall. They could have easily just reused it, seeing as this takes place before H3 but I’m glad they didn’t. This one looks cooler

Mmm. Was hoping for less of a “mumbai slums” looking area and more of a “haven underground facility” area, but it’s alright. Female target looks actually pretty interesting. Hoping for some variety in the map’s buildings; all I came back with from the trailer is the ruins area (which i love) and a whooooole lot of stilt buildings/houses which kind of all look pretty similar. I’m cautiously hyped as I mainly just want a variety of unique kills and GOOD NPCS FOR CONTRACTS

It also says this: “The now “fan favourite” Revolutionary is back! Vicente Murillo will be patrolling Santa Fortuna again”. They were reading the ETA thread! :joy:

Biggest mistake of my life: going on reddit in search of opinions: MaldrickTV comments on Likeliness of More DLC Maps?

“To bring the game on par with Hitman 2, content wise, we’re going to need Ambrose Island plus two more maps.” How fucking selfish are people

That a trick question, or…?
