Ambrose Island - Pre-release Discussion

The fact that the island is settled, sees regular traffic, albeit of the illicit kind, and the fact that every square inch of the Earth’s surface has been mapped out by satellites for the last two decades… there’s no uncharted islands anymore.

I hope the Mastery will have some new, non-reskinned unlocks. As it’s a proper map, free for everyone, and the Mastery seems to have a lot of levels. Preferably, some fire gadgets, an oil can, a water bag, disposable rusty tools… Something along these lines :upside_down_face:

If you’re torturing yourself 100%ing everything, like me, it’s not that long at all! The time is just flying by!

The original idea for Colorado was a giant factory (:smiling_face_with_tear:)

Can see why they abandoned that, they already did that in the previous game.

Damnit, I hope I’m not getting over-hyped for this. I’m really looking forward to it.

expect dissapointment and you’ll never be dissapointed is my mantra with hitman 3

The fights shown on the trailer already reminded me of the new Hitman map/announcement feel I got from Siberia with that Khabko scene! Can’t believe it’s just a few days away :star_struck:

To be honest I don’t really belong to the camp that’s been particularly disappointed by stuff in H3. Maybe the Sins-DLC, but I simply opted not to get that, so it doesn’t bother me much.

Totally agree. I never understood the people who find nothing but fault with the content or the game.

No, that’s a mantra for a cynical lifestyle; “Never be happy, then nothing will faze you” is no way to live, even in a fandom. That’s a one way ticket to depression. And if a game isn’t making you happy, then leave and come back to it, it’ll do a world of good.

Unless it’s Ubisoft. They can go suck an egg.

My guess is that there is a a underground crystal meth laboratory under Ambrose Island hidden behind a laundromat, a la “Breaking Bad”. Besides killing off three targets, you have to blow up the crystal meth laboratory, such as by explosion or by smoking out the place and causing the automatic sprinklers to flood the place.

I’ve got a better one, or at least I’ve always thought it was better:

Expect nothing.

thank god i only use it for hitman 3 as i stated. The game was great but i stopped enjoying it. leading to a break from playing it and consuming content online from it. I usually only start it up to sloppily finish an elusive target these days.

and for a bit of context. Hitman 3 was my most anticipated game for 2021. in the first year of hitman 3 I carried over my progress, and still played 242 hours of it. For hitman year 2 I played it for 33 hours so far. Bringing my hour total total to 276. For my most anticipated game of 2022, elden ring, I have played it for 179 hours so far. Hitman for whatever reason gets more play time out of me than any other game.
