They’ve told us it’s set sometime in H2’s timeline, and wraps up some plot threads, but other than that, no clue.

I have a guess there might be some connection with Wazir Kale / Maelstorm as he was a Pirate.
As per my personal observation, I found the lady’s voice in the Ambrose Island trailer is of Tamil accent. Tamil is a language spoken in one of the southern state of India and some parts of Sri Lanka. Maybe a connection with Maya Parvathi. Or maybe the voice artist is a tamil lady.

Personally her voice sounds like that lady in Mumbai who you can hear in the background… somewhere in Mumbai, who says: “I can’t wait to see that new Rangan movie!”

That island and its people are actually pretty fascinating. There is more than one contact attempt dating back many many years (1770s). The Indian Govt has made it a “no sail zone” and technically no one is allowed to go near it. They Indian military patrols around the waters of the island and will use force to keep modern people away from the island. Some have tried though including a crazy American who wanted to bring Christianity to them.

Is there a link to the leak?
There is a leak investigator group or thread. You have to toggle it “on” and then you have access to that thread. I can’t remember to find it though. About a month ago I got into it and then quickly got out bc it has too much info.

I don’t buy into the fact that as this location is free that they’ll have put less resource into making it, not a chance. Why would this make sense? It might not be a full 20 mastery location but I think that comes down to map size rather than funds.
Having spent the last hour or so catching up on the low down I’m certainly hyped up for this one to drop. Here’s what I’m hoping for;

Agent Smith return - by far one of the best characters to grace the franchise.

Some new unlocks/items - we’ve been given plenty of reskins throughout year 2 thus far so I really hope they’ve delved deep and come up with some exciting new items for us to unlock.

Bridge accident kill? Read a few peoples posts on this and hope they implement some mechanic that enables us to do something along these lines.

Trophies/Achievements - hope they add a new batch of these in, enjoy tackling the redacted ones.
Lastly, I wanted to touch on the pricing point again, it’s free which is great, I don’t see there being an underlying reason for them giving it us for free, other than they love us fans and want to reward us 
so let’s leave it at that.
