I believe it is also stated that the decommissioned building inside which the facility is located is prepared for demolition. It is unknown whether this contingency plan was successfully conducted, as the data leak might have interfered with it and it was no longer a priority for any of the ICA’s (former) employees.
Yes, if you have the meeting with him in the VIP area, you can choose to make him sample the cocaine or the whiskey instead of clearing the room. I recommend using emetic poison. You’ll be rewarded with a unique voice line from Diana if you follow through from there and do what the game wants you to do.
What the hell is that song saying when the music stops and it says the same echoey warbled phrase 4 times before it starts back up again? I can’t tell if it’s saying come on this journey or your mama’s a jerk.
I guess, yes. Usually, when Npc are poisoned by emetics, they reach the closest vomit spot in theyr prossimity. So, if you shoot him with the Sieker when he’s in the Vip area, I’m pretty sure he’ll still go to the shaft.
I think it’s saying “Demolisher”
Well, I got the bastard last night. Unfortunately, I couldn’t use @MvpAgent47’s method like I initially planned. I mean, I did, but another NPC kept getting hit so I had to keep resetting it, and while I would have kept trying until I got it right, the discovery was made of the unique dialogue from pushing him to his death in a particular place and nowhere else, and I knew I had to at least try to make it that one for that reason (credit @thrison on that discovery). So, ditching my usual lockpick from my loadout and switching it with the emetic canister you get from Ambrose Island was the only thing I needed to do (other than load my Silverballer in a hidden stash because I’m playing this bitch in accordance with the HPP and IOI still won’t let us fucking start from the radio tower shed with all our gear, so I have to go out of my way to have my mandatory silenced pistol) Here’s what I did, and so can you, and naturally, those of you not interested in dialogue or having a stashed weapon can skip the first parts of this:
Start at the club entrance, go down to the floor where the target hangs out, follow him around and listen to some of the stuff he says if you haven’t played it yet, you may never get a chance again to know what this ET is about because it’s future after this run is uncertain. After one circuit of the floor, I go down the bottom level, get my Silverballer out of the bathroom utility closet. I head back up to the main floor and go outside to that area where two agents are patrolling in the main game and one drinks from a glass on the table. Walk past this area over to where the port-a-potties are, near the juice bar trailer. As I’m going for an accident kill and adhering to the HPP, I do not disable the security cameras during this run, but for those who’d prefer to have them off, at this point you can take the passageway in this area into the stairwell that leads down to the security room and disable the cameras.
Now, most players know about the door near the food delivery guy that can be unlocked in order to get to the entrance to the biker hideout, but for those who don’t know, if you go to the port-a-potty area, you can climb over the wall here into that same yard, which helps if you don’t have your lockpick. I then avoided the camera here, took the permanently opened shortcut to enter the biker hideout stairwell, and took the stairs down to the hallway that leads right out into the VIP area of the club. There’s a single armed biker guard here, whereas in the main game there are two. This helps immensely. This guard, and the one guarding the VIP entrance that the target will come through, are the only enforcers who can bust you from this angle.
Stay in this spot, behind the guard, looking out into the VIP area, watching the entrance where the target and his bodyguard will come from, having the emetic canister ready. When the target arrives, throw the canister in the spot near where he stops. Immediately move back and duck behind cover that’s next to you, because the guard will turn around and look when he sees the canister fly past. You may hit both the target and his bodyguard with the emetic cloud that forms, and that might be tricky depending on which gets a dose first. Timed wrong, the bodyguard will walk over to where you are to puke and the target will go elsewhere. It’s best to avoid hitting the bodyguard and only hit the target, so wait for the target to stop and admire the VIP area and his bodyguard to walk a bit away from him before you throw. Again, remember to duck back immediately.
The target will get sick and walk into the hallway where you are, past you, and throw up near the chain link fence, down the shaft that leads to the club owner’s office. His bodyguard, if untouched, will follow him for a moment, ignoring you, and then leave and stand back out in the VIP area once the target starts puking. The armed guard may go to investigate the spot where the canister was thrown, or may not. Be careful if not. Kick the target down the shaft for the special dialogue, and if the guard went to investigate, immediately retrace your steps to leave the biker hideout. Remember to dodge that camera in the yard. If the guard did not go investigate, as soon as you kick the target, move back and duck behind that same cover again when he turns around to look at the source of the sound the target makes when falling. Wait until he turns back around, and then leave. I made my way all the way back to the club entrance and exited on the bicycle.
SASO, no KO, perfect run in accordance with my own parameters, and on one I’ve never done it before. So satisfying.
Ah, ok. That makes sense.
I really enjoy this ET. Admire IOI’s work and love the changes in the map they made for this ET. But it’s a shame that we can’t revisit this version of Berlin club since it’s an ET.
The very limited and limiting choice of starting locations really is my only issue with this ET.
TBH that’s more of a problem with Berlin itself than the ET. Single suit start (and without a weapon) while there are 3 in Freelancer, biker start that’s clearly superior to pretty much all other options, etc.
Just figured out if you make him go into lockdown so he stands under the disco ball, if you then make him panic further while at the disco ball - he’ll then go to a second lockdown location and stand underneath the crane that you can use in the main mission to kill Agent Thames.
Alexios certainly makes questionable choices about where to feel safe…
Ahhhh shit, that is so cool. IOI thought of everything!
AND you can pick up the fuse cell in Berlin too!
Highly doubt this would happen, but it would be so cool to see this version of Berlin added to Freelancer seen as it’s post Hitman III
We can only hope it happens!
I think it’s “Good Timing Bold”
Took a break from ETs, but couldn’t miss the new one. That’s a shame I missed the chance to fix my Ascensionist run tho.
Edit: Shit, no way I missed the opportunity to drop it on the beat drop. Why I always hesitate to pull the trigger.
Hitman 3 - A Dance With The Drop.
Its finally finished. I worked hard on this one, so I hope y’all like it! Lots of credit to @MrOchoa for the Blood Money clips. Youre a lifesaver!
No problem man, glad I’ve helped you. Turned out very well
I haven’t touched or looked at anything about this mission yet. Think I’ll finally jump into it tonight.
Is there anything special or any secret interactions/mission stories I should look out for?
Diana has a special dialogue if you push him to his death in one specific spot.
Ooh! Where specifically, or is it pretty obvious?
