Announcing New Elusive Target: The Drop (Year 5: March 13 - April 5 2025)

The fact that we never had any ninja target in Hokkaido is sad

Do modern day ninjas even exist? If yes, Ninja please! :joy:

I don’t know and I don’t care, assassinating a ninja sounds awesome

You know it! I’ll also tweet the number 25 :raised_hands:t3:

Actually, there’s two behind you. Lol

Too bad we never got to fight against some, like back in H2:SA…

Give him a bad hairline and a beard and he definitely looks like he’d be an Andrew Tate fan.

Wow… that’s… awful.

Whoever this guy is, he must have an amazing agent.

They could just remove the arbitrary ~7m30s wait. That would also make it better.

I’m enjoying the hype for him don’t worry! We’re just weirded out that 47 model, won’t change my excitement at least

Oh man :joy: It sounds like he’s got bad microphone quality, so they tried to cover it up by muffling it with a mask character design.

I hope IOI books him a good studio or something.

EDIT: Never mind, that’s apparently just a character cosmetic (that does change voice quality, interesting detail), but still, Dimitri is just an average guy reading some lines lol…
(Sub Zero sounds way over the top compared to him there, but man, that gulf is WIDE)

He might sound totally fine VA’ing for an Elusive. There’s already plenty of really weird sounding NPCs who say the strangest stuff.

At this rate IOI are going to end up keeping us occupied until the next big AAA Hitman game!:wink::wink:

It’s a class time to be a Hitman fan right now! :raised_hands:t2:

No. If there’s one thing that is constant about the world today, it’s that enjoying anything is heavily contingent on that thing matching every personal preference we have 100%. 99% earns nothing but wrath.

I’m not sure I actually realized there was such a thing as a celebrity disc jockey. How big is that community?

Fixed it for you. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I’m average.

And a guy.

Where are my lines to read IO?

Think you’ve got the causality chain the wrong way round: if we didn’t have Wrath then people would be 100% happy and not just 99%.

I feel like in context of the sins, Greed existing is why people are only 99% happy. (Christ Greed was such a bad start to the sins). All the work culminated in Wrath.

I thought Greed was a fairly inoffensive escalation tbh, but I wasn’t playing when the deadly sins were being released, so I can’t comment on what it was like. I also enjoy escalations in general, and think they’re way overhated in the community. I wish we still got new ones every month like in H2 :pensive:

I bought the whole 7DS pack at release, and I didn’t mind Greed. It’s an interesting escalation, even if it’s not the best of the bunch. Maybe they should’ve started with Pride.

But I think the majority of complaints came from people who don’t like escalations at all, and from people who jumped on the meme bandwagon of complaining about a 35€ DLC starting with “Greed”. Hahaha omegalul. Low-hanging fruit I guess.
