I think I’m making some meaningful headway into unlocking the secret of getting “Arrange Meeting” to actually work consistently.
There is one map I can always make arrange meeting work 100% of the time. It’s Haven Island. The trick I found to making it always work is you must be using the same phone type as the target. So if your target is a “Handover Meeting”, you must get another handover phone. I have tested using a different meeting type phone and that didn’t work.
The second thing I’ve found I have to do to make it work is use the phone in a specific place. Namely the water sports shed across from the medical facility. So if I use a phone of the same meeting type as the target and use the phone in the water sports shed it works every time.
So today I was doing a showdown in Miami with “Arrange Meeting” as the prestige objective and knowing what I know from Haven I made sure to get the same phone as the targets. I tried using the phone in basement locker room (the one with the pale rider outfit) and it didn’t work. I grabbed another phone (same type as target) and placed it in a different spot. This time I randomly chose to use it in the large security office at the gates. More specifically the small room closest to the guard fiddling with the copier machine. Low and behold it worked!
So my theory is that to get arrange meeting to work consistently you have to use the same phone as the targets and use the phone in specific areas that actually work. Now I’ve only got the arrange meeting to work once in Miami as I haven’t had another chance to test it again but I have gotten the one to work in Haven like 12 times in a row. So what I’m thinking in this thread is for people to list where they actually have gotten arrange meeting to work in other levels then maybe we could figure out how to get it to work in every map.
