Anytime someone’s boss is always the smartest person in the room they are lucky if the boss is also not a yelling an swearing person, and Diana is certainly nearly always the smartest person in the room.
The fan base is also lucky too. Her character would be so much less interesting if she flew off the handle all the time. She’d just be the same as 10,000 other jerks. Benjamin Travis was a yell and swear type person . Powers Booth was so good for that role! My fav part of Absolution for sure.
I vividly remember being able to carry around pistols and shotguns while disguised as Hirschmüller, but now I can’t recreate it. In what scenario are you allowed to carry illegal weapons around as him?
I see in my inventory tab under my Career page in the game that I have a sniper rifle called ICA Bartoli Woodsman Rifle Covert. However, when I try to equip it for gameplay, either in an ICA pickup or carry it in loaded in a briefcase, it is nowhere to be found. Does anybody know what the deal is with this? I don’t even remember where or how I unlocked it.
It sounds like you’ve run into the Inventory Bug. It’s been reported by a number of people, though it seems to effect different items for different people. (I have over 20 items that I can’t smuggle in with briefcases or Agency Pickups.)
It’s on their list of known issues, but you may want to post your details in the Bug Report thread or submit a ticket with Player Support.
(And you unlocked that one by completing the Sniper Assassin challenge on 17 maps.)
What’s the deal with server hiding in Wilson’s house? Did he discover that Helen West is a murderer and he is next on the list? He looks very frightened.
They seem to have an added effect(?) that when you head-shot a target they will simply fall over where they are instead of flying off their feet as with other sniper rifles.
Huh, wouldn’t you know it? It seems that it was just a little glitch or bug. Started the game up again just now, tried to see if maybe that rifle would show this time, and sure enough, there it was. Must have just been temporarily missing, the one time I’m actually looking for it.
I’d actually make it particular sniper rifles, rather than all of them. The really high-powered ones, like the singer ghost and the jaeger lancer, the ones with either 4 zooms or piercing ability, for when you need to throw the body into a hiding place with the shot. For the rest, yeah, it’d be nice to have them just keel over like they would from a pistol headshot.
Agreed. The impact effect should be more based in real life. @Heisenberg id be fine with it for 1 that is clearly put in for fun. Kinda like the matador or whatever gun it is that flings bodies around like the ballers from H2SA
Agreed. I understand that toning down the impact effect would basically break/prevent sniper contracts (and that one particular escalation) that involve hiding bodies, so there should be one rifle with this “special ability”, but the rest should be more “realistic”.
But then the mechanic of sending bodies flying into a hiding spot wouldn’t exist, making SA ranking on any of the sniping maps and certain sniping Oporto IO in the regular maps impossible. The really high-powered ones should keep that mechanic. The more average sniper rifles would be ok to be delivered to a more realistic effect.
For that matter, I want to bring back the shotguns that launched the person’s body from Blood Money (or was that Absolution?).
If we’re talking about realistic… I’d think we’d have exit wounds and dismemberment.
But there’s also the idea of different types of ammo that I wish they’d have in the regular game - not just the (3) Sniper Mode Missions.
There’s so many ways to go with all that. Either guns with certain perks, or any gun with your choice of ammo that can be chosen in the planning phase before the mission.
