I’m going to take a stab at guessing that the update was meant to coincide with the anniversary edition announcement, but they delayed it for some reason. It’s too much of a coincidence imo.
Hopefully to add some necessary fixes.
I’d be surprised if that were the case as recent history has new CelebrETs going live on Thursdays. It was probably nothing more than someone entering the wrong date for auto-deployment of the patch.
Can’t confirm this, but the update accidentally went live for a specific PS5 region resulting in the confirmation of new content.
Intentionally vague response cause of leaks. Like always speculate and keep expectations in check.

Both the Elusive Target, and main playlists have been updated on the Hitman youtube channel.
The video is still private, but here is a link to it, for when it become active.
It’s probably for a reveal soon(ish) this week, and with it the roadmap.

Yo, this week I spent my time at home and not work because of the holiday (Jewish New Year for whoever is wondering) and I’m thirsty for new content, I started and finished Indika, I completed every single ETA that I never completed, and I need new content.
Please IOI release that Roadmap already lol.

And you forget that they might reveal it alongside another 007 trailer or something.
(Even tho the 30 min gameplay just released, I believe we’ll see even more in the state of play because of how large the event is and how much IOI wants to hype up the release of this game).

Okay, so they’ve just ignored myself and @thrison once more about letting us know about updates one day in advance. As in 24 hours, not 12 hours. And certainly don’t do it at 10:45pm UK time, which is practically guaranteed to not get seen by most of Europe.
Again, I could’ve so easily missed this. I’m only awake right now because Windows 10’s wake timer system woke me up. Had my PC not done that, I would’ve not seen this 'til morning.
This is the third time I’ve had to say this @Combatglue and I’m getting pretty sick and tired of saying the same thing over and over and over again. [Insert Vaas speech here].
