Considering it was something that at some point was planned to be revealed during the Showcase, I think its well beyond the “talking about it” stage tbh.
You climb up the tower, slit the guards throat, duck, grab the sniper and walk backwards to the opposite wall of the tower and pick off one guard after another.
Obviously its not “nobody notices you”, but if you do it right, this wont end in a shootout.
So now we know they are remasters, do we think they will be potentially PC exclusive given Codename 47 was never released on either PlayStation or Xbox consoles?
It could go either way as we already had Absolution and Blood Money undergo remasters for the consoles, so it could be for them, or could it be these are the reprisal versions like Blood Money?
I know this isn’t what is happening but I love to see the games just made just like the WOA. No need to change things. There will still be very few people in the Hong Kong and Russian streets, I guess we would lose first person and duel wielding, and in Anathema every guard would be an enforcer… but it would be fun to see how that worked.
How about yes. The other missions don’t matter because you can SA them in Contracts, and the asylum missions you can SA the one with Kovacs if you’re careful, and the other two you’re supposed to kill the NPCs, so they don’t matter. That leaves the Colombia missions as the sole anomaly left over from the original game. So, IOI, rework ‘em. Tweak them just a bit, so that it can be achieved that we accomplish our missions without being spotted, or killing non-targets. Hell, this could be achieved just by making everyone you end up killing in Colombia an acceptable target, creating the most minimal possible change.
$50 only gets you the first two missions in Silent Assassin but also a free trial of Hidden Gates. Players must complete Hidden Gates SASO to unlock the full trilogy.
