Contract mode for Celebrity ET missions

IO Interactive has done a great job with the CelebrET missions, especially The Banker and The Splitter. Even the earliest one, The Undying, introduced more gameplay changes to the map compared to Snow Festival—which got Contract Mode. Not that I’m complaining.

Since future content will likely focus on Featured Contracts and challenges, it makes perfect sense for IO to release more Contract Mode maps. This could even boost DLC sales. Although I’d prefer them being free, I respect IO’s decision.

@Combatglue What do you think?

That’s not a likely event; that’s literally what’s happening right now. IO have been doing this since late 2023.

I don’t think it would. Most of the sales for the DLC would’ve been made at the point of their releases, and I don’t think Contracts Mode being added to these maps would change the needle too much.

Huh, didn’t know that was in Contracts Mode. TIL.

I would not respect IO’s decision to lock off contracts mode for these maps for DLC holders. That sounds like a good way to make people angry.

So naturally, I expect this to be added to the game in the next six months to the Celebrity bundle. /s

Of course, they could just do what they did with ETA, and make all those contracts available to everyone, and I’m fairly certain there’s a featured contract that is set on The Twin, so they’re seemingly open to the idea.

Possibly only because no one at IO bothered to play it before letting it go live. It famously launched without any exits activating once all the targets were dead and they had to mess around with it the following week to fix it. So entirely possible they weren’t aware of it featuring an ET.

I’d love this idea and I think it should’ve been implemented as soon as The Undying came back. Unfortunately we’ll probably never see a Disruptor contracts support
