I join the others in here who are still disappointed by the content we’re getting on HITMAN 3 since launch…
As a huge fan of the franchise i’m saddened to see how this last game is being treated in terms of content and attention
Since it’s supposed to be the ultimate chapter of the trilogy i thought that they would make everything possible to make this one the greatest of them all. It seems that i was wrong.
Sadly after seeing the roadmaps and the released DLCs since the game’s launch i think we are very far from what fans expected for the ultimate installment of the franchise, particularly when it’s meant to be the last one for the years to come.
Compared to the previous HITMAN installments, this third (and last) episode of the revamped franchise seems very low in terms of content, mostly being a pack of escalations, even if this last one is an interesting modification to the escalation concept.
Compared to HITMAN 2016 and HITMAN 2 where there was a pack of Bonus Missions, new maps and additional side missions, this new game is only getting a series of escalations and short temporary/permanent events, which is far away from the quality content fans expected after all the amazing things they’ve been through from all those years and knowing this will be the last HITMAN game for a while and the one most people will play and remember.
It’s too bad that after the huge financial success of the company they just decided to move on and go make the Bond videogame, leaving only a few part of the development team focusing on this game. I expected a much better caring from the studio that brought 47 to life and the game that helped them to be known worldwide
This third and final installment of the HITMAN saga deserved way better treatment and polish in the end. Let’s hope that the next months will be better in terms of content and that this third and final game will get the treatment, quality and content it deserves, even if my expectations are close to zero after seeing how they’re handling the situation
