Deep Dive into HITMAN 3 - Game Informer

My doom and gloom attitude is limited to merely the story. I am actually excited about the gameplay and the levels because they have consistently been awesome. The story on the other hand has been consistently mediocre to downright bad in parts and they are actively integrating it more here. Just because I am a fan of Hitman doesn’t magically mean I can’t be critical about it in any capacity.

Yeah but it’s a video game.

You just got triggered because of a sticker wdym

Sometimes rough words are needed to achieve what a person desires. Although I agree some ppl are really good at exaggerating.

Well I wasn’t even aiming to be sarcastic, more like taking a jab at the whole Mk.II issue, but I suppose I could’ve used a laughing sticker straight out to make it clear. But I think you’ve encountered enough of my posts here to know I’m rarely outright negative about something in the game

For future reference, my only “serious” beef with it is the lack of location appropriate accents in H1. Anything else I try to keep to constructive criticism or just joke about it. But if you’re unsure about any of my future posts, feel free to check with me first

What are you talking about? I never said anyone shouldn’t be offended by anything, in fact I welcome it. If people let themselves admit they’re offended by things instead of licking their own assholes about how they’re never offended maybe the world wouldn’t be run by idiots.

I got “triggered” by someone else getting “triggered” over a sticker from a two year old game and thinking they’ll have a sticker in another game. My point wasn’t “it’s just a video game, don’t take it seriously” my point was “it’s a video game, no one plays those for story, and this series has always had bad stories.”

But hey you owned me with your 2013 reddit lingo, maybe you can post it to all the other boomers on Facebook that you did an epic ownage on the libs by never being offended by anything.

Well that’s fine, I just dislike when the community is negative all the time. It’s called a fandom not a fan dumb.

And then this exact community gets high and mighty and says I’m getting offended because I find the same memetic discussion being repeated exhausting? So analysing 47’s model because his right arsecheek doesn’t look like Absolution’s is fine but the rest of the community does a pile on and gets on a high horse when I say “hey let’s maybe not complain about every single detail that comes out?” Like I’m sure you’d agree, there’s been times this forum has complained about more minuscule shit than I have. Me complaining about the forums culture is a little more justifiable than the 400 replies I’ve made to my mega list complaining about font or whatever useless shit bothers me. But that was fine apparently, but this wasn’t. Like if you’re going to call me a prissy bitch that’s fine but do it consistently, I’ve been given a pass it seems with the megalist stuff because the other prissy bitches in this forum agreed with me that time.

Does this make sense? Someone must understand what I mean? I can’t be crazy. I am getting frustrated over nothing but I feel like there’s some sort of double standard. Someone else must sympathise?

people who are hardcore fans of a game will always be the ones who are most nitpicky and angry. Hitman fans outside this forum are just happy to have a fish in their inventory  it’s how it is, and you just need to learn to tune the negativity out sometimes

Yeah I have no idea why in every new trailer the fish is brought up. It’s the Pickle Rick of Hitman, funniest shit ever to casual fans. I don’t find it that funny since it just uses the normal animations and there’s no weird rag dolls. The banana on the other hand? Funniest shit I’ve ever seen.

well the fish used to have some unique physics, but they removed it for some reason…

What were they? Was this during the patch cycles or before release? Do you think it’ll come back for HIII?

the fish had some bounce-back when you threw it at someone. might have been removed as a bug, idk if itll return

More like triggered over one of the most popular jokes in this community. There’s no sign of Rimland complaining nor saying anything negative about the stickers at all. Hard to consider him “triggered”.

Curious, not even on a forum dedicated to discussions about said game we’re allowed to criticize the story. We don’t want the plot to stay the same, do we?

lmao, no, this series didn’t had always bad Stories. They where in no way literary masterpieces, but from Codename 47 to Blood Money the Story made sense and was interesting enough to follow.
Since Absolution this isnt the case anymore, at first i liked HITMANs Story, until i saw the Post Colorado Cutscene and it went downhill from there immediately.

Also People like @Accidental-kills98 and myself complain about this Stuff because we are Passionate about it and we want it to be better.
I posted a Version of the events of the complete Hitman Series and how they could be all connected without destroying 20 Years of Canon on the old Forum.

I dont hate Hitman or IO, quite the opposite, and that is why i want them to get better.

I hope this complaining reaches IOI someday because till now it seems like it hasn’t

I don’t like it as well to be honest, but it is understandable. I think there should be a balance between criticism and appreciation

Damn this is so true

I have an underscore and not a hyphen now. I complain more or less like a review does because I saw something bad and wanted to give my two cents on it. If IO did take anything we said on board then that is good but on the whole IO should really do what they want because the last thing we need is backseat driving from us.

It isn’t a sin to complain even if you are a fan. As fans we should criticise what we like since being a fan means appreciating something while being mindful that it isn’t the Dead Sea Scrolls.

Yes I do.

One joke.

Hitman C47: man manipulates ICA to take on Contracts, 47 finds out he has a personal connection to him.

Hitman 2: man manipulates ICA to take on Contracts, 47 finds out he has a personal connection to him.

Contracts and Blood Money: rival agency is going after the ICA, want to make their own clones.

Absolution: the ICA is going after the ICA, want to make their own clones.

NuHitman: man manipulates ICA to take on Contracts, 47 finds out he has a personal connection to him.

Thanks Requiem I’m glad there’s one person that gets me. I’m fine with everyone else thinking I’m wrong as long as there’s someone else.
