Deluxe Escalation - The Lee Hong Derivation

I had to spend a lot of time for the third level

It’s been a while since I played it? Is the timer an autofail? If so it should just be a soft fail. You play the mission and if you don’t compete the objectives and exit in time the game will still let you, but it shows you that you failed in the score. I’m not sure that possible but that’s how I would like it to be.

it’s an insta-fail. The only reason i’ve never completed this escalation.

I know I did this one before on my Xbox, but doing it again on Nintendo.

Is there a science to Lee Hong’s body not being found? I guess the Blue Lotus explosion makes people’s reaction in the restaurant pretty RNG, increasing’the chances of one of them discovering Lee Hong’s sniped body.

In all my Nintendo runs so far they find his body, but I’ve seen some YouTube walkthroughs where they shoot Lee Hong quite early on, and he never gets discovered, not even by the waiter who has him on his route. What’s the trick/science behind it?

Edit: quite frustrating to see past Franz in this topic seems to have got it all figured out

Edit 2: got it! Finally caught up to old Franz

this is still by far my favorite escalation. Lovely references and fun challenge for both brain and dexterity.

This escalation is currently free to play due to Chinese New Year and you can get the unlockables even if you do not own Deluxe edition, which I just did! Don’t remember if it was ever made F2P before.

Its been going F2P each year since they scrapped the free location rotations after they released the Part One pack and pivoted to F2P seasonal content.

But it usually doesn’t get put on a roadmap since it falls in the time period each year where new content just randomly shows up between roadmaps.
