Do regions of games matter for import?

So I ordered Hitman 3 recently from Dubai (I’m closeby), but my Hitman 2 is a US version. Is that gonna affect anything or it doesn’t matter as long as accounts are same?

Probably not. I also moved and have two different regions from the Steam and Epic version but had no problems with licensing nor with importing progress. Everything worked fine.

Did the HITMAN 3 you bought is Euro version?
① PS4 and PS5 platform
→import locations from H2 US version to H3 Euro version (╳)
→progression carryover()
②Xbox platform
→import locations from H2 US version to H3 Euro version ()
→progression carryover()

Yes it is, unfortunately. I have PS4, so that’s annoying. It doesn’t matter if its digital or not, right?

How to get it

On Xbox, you also need to own a digital copy of either HITMAN 3 or the HITMAN 2 Free Starter Pack before navigating to the in-game store.
