Maybe helicopter pilot?

Giving my quasi-initial impressions of each level once I hit Mastery 15 and finish all the mission stories:
This is a fine level. It feels a lot like Paris to me, but lesser than Paris in most ways except in terms of breathtaking environmental views and story integration. In a lot of ways, itās a bog standard Hitman level. The map layout and the connectivity is great, though I find the staff passageways very confusing. I wish theyād done something to the color of the walls or something to make their placement on the map more comprehensible. Iām sure Iāll get used to them.
It seems like theyāve gone for fewer mission stories but made them more cinematic throughout (and this keeps up through the next few levels). I think this will be a popular change overall but an unpopular change on this forum. Hereās my inital verdict: Hitman III will be considered the best in the trilogy by people who play each map no more than three times; Hitman II will be considered the best by people who play each map no more than 10 times; Hitman 1 will be considered the best by people who play each map a hundred times. Thereās a diminished focus on sandboxiness and an increased focus on a few cinematic runs.
The targets could stand to be a little more exciting in the mission, but I love the expanded target bios. And they are really well-written this time around! Kudos to the writers. Though, I strongly dislike that they broke the pattern of calling the targets āThe Xā. Couldnāt they be The Baron and The Kingmaker?
Not very interesting signature kills, Iām afraid. They surely couldāve given given one or two of them a quasi-cutscene, like a lot of other signature kills get. But nope: you just see the targets fall or get electrocuted as if they were any other NPC.
Is this a thing in any other mission in the game either though? I donāt think Iāve seen any cinematic kills so far, which is a bit disappointing. I donāt want to know the exact moments before I encounter them myself but Iād like to know if they exist.
Overall I really like this mission. Especially activating the evacuation and sabotaging the parachutes to make the targets fall to their death is great.
Hm, Iām not deep enough to really know for certain, but one that comes close is (mission 2 mission story spoiler):
taking the family picture of Alexa Carlisle as she gets electrocuted. It doesnāt wrest control away from the game camera like cutscenes normally do, but itās staged to give a dramatic and very funny moment from a particular perspective.
I havenāt done much in Dartmoor so most of the opportunities there are still a mystery to me. Thus, Iām not going to read that but good to know if there is at least something like that.
If you start outside the building and then do the prompt to change into the ashen suit, would it still count as SASO?
So the story mission with the guy who wears the the green shirt and the black suit⦠obviously spoiler ahead
i stumbled onto this one without the hints, but itās pretty obvious that this guy is useful when you hear him talking about his appointment with the boss. I donāt like that you can subdue the ātargetā and then take a photo of him and pretend heās dead. Youād think the providence guy would want actual proof. They could have done a photo of him really dead. That couldnāt give you SA, but so what? The games about varied approaches and the player could always back out of this one if they realise you have to actually kill the guy and donāt want to. That internal conflict would be more fun for those who never want to kill anyone but the target then the way it is now, and for all else it would have been a healthy dose of āwow this is a darker Hitman.ā Better yet you could try to take the photo and the partner could notice there isnāt proof heās dead and lose faith in you or call his guards in to put you down for lying to him. That fall back would have been amazing.
What if I kill him with poison? What if I elected to drown him? What if I snapped his neck? What if I donāt want to be penalised for trying to play the game or because of some lame way of saying āThis aināt you grandadās HITMANā?
First part: proof would be hard in that situation. Thatās why the photo wouldnāt work
Second part: Then youād decide to abort that tactic and have to find another way to get your target. That was my point.
True but this sort of stuff hasnāt stopped HITMAN before.
But what if I wanted to do that experience while also going for SA? Entire avenues of play shouldnāt be removed simply because it isnāt realistic.
Now that it has been brought up. What happens if you photograph Ingram and approach the journalist? Has anyone here tried it yet?
I really love this mission, but I have one question.
on the route stuyvesant takes going to the knife throwing targets, he walks over an outlet by a water cooler. Is there a way to trigger this route without being escorted by him? I walked up to the guard in the changing room in a guard outfit and 47 refused to give it to him.
Fair point on the first one but for the second there are already plenty of avenues that do not allow for SA. Usually scripted kills (some are even story modes) such as the train in Mumbai, the light rig in Paris, or the APC turret in Morocco.
Wait I thought only the tank kill was the only one that kills innocents (something I despise for the record). I swear if you wait long enough you donāt get any civilians in the way of the other two kills.
That being said I am fine with collateral damage when there is a kill but not for merely infiltrating.
Itās not possible to drop the light rig without the crowd people getting caught in it. At least I donāt think so.
Huh I could have sworn that if you wait long enough then the models leave the stage. Since when did it crush people in the crowd? It might be because I am a forgetful person though so I might just be misremembering.
I am also forgetful. I remember it taking out crowd members and even 47 if heās too close. Iāll go try it after this Dubai play though Iām on now.
So I placed the bomb and then saved so I could trigger it a few times and see how it went. I killed 3 crowd people one time. 2 crowd and 1 photographer one time, and 3 crowd another time.
Huh well I am either extremely lucky or I just learnt something new about Hitman. I am going to say I learnt something new about Hitman.
Starting from the lobby I proceeded to SASO Ingrim. I then waited for Marcus to do his rounds in an āaccident proneā area, but he never came. Turns out he was waiting for someone (and 47) to spout some vital information. I hope this trigger isnāt always needed every time you do them in this orderā¦
