Suggested approach: Best approach is to go in as a waiter, run through the lobby out the backdoor, grab the propane in the outdoor storage area behind the tuk-tuk, go back in through the backdoor, get frisked, go halfway up the stairwell to your hotel room, throw propane flask onto table where targets will sit taking care not to hit anyone but make sure someone sees you throw it, and get away as quickly as possible avoiding enforcers and cameras. Eventually a target will smoke and set off the propane.
Tip: avoid bringing detectable weapons but bring along an EMP just in case you get spotted on camera and gotta erase the recording with minimal risk. Be sure to practice in the arcade but be careful not to get mixed up with the normal version.
Here’s some tips when I was experimenting with them in the arcade lol.
EDIT: added some additional info and Infiltration opportunities.
Routes, facts, and Behaviors.
Summary
Order of target’s actions are randomized, but based on some experimenting, Richard will usually take a phone call in a room if your in that room, I have no clue if it’s 100% true though.
If one of the targets die, the other target’s loop WILL change, even if they see it happen or not, however it’s best to kill Richard first as there is an opportunity to kill Inez when this change happens, if you kill Inez, Richard will be difficult to kill.
Richards bodyguards will follow Inez until they reach the staircase with the two hotel staff. Inez’s bodyguards are at the balcony in the VIP lounge.
If Inez and Richard are both alive, any location Richard walks into becomes hostile, if Inez dies, Certain locations the Richard hasn’t walked into won’t be trespassing.
Richard and Inez don’t eat despite going there to eat because the hotel sucks ass. Therefore they can’t be poisoned naturally.
They start near the guy with the Tuk-Tuk, will enter the area just outside the VIP lounge, then will head into the VIP lounge. Then start their randomized standard cycle.
Richard and Inez’s bodyguards are SENSITIVE to bullet impacts, you can utilize that
Isolation - Richard
Summary
Richard takes a phone call within the room right next to the lounge by himself, it’s recommended that you syringe him there because there’s a chance the body will be found.
UPDATE: Richards body does NOT get found if killed in that room.
If you use coins or a briefcase lure, you can isolate Richard behind the room he and Inez sits behind. His bodyguards don’t follow him in, and will wait outside for an infinite amount of time. Funnily enough, Inez will ALSO walk in by herself if that happens.
Isolation - Inez
Summary
You can isolate Inez behind the bar where the waiter is, make sure to deal with Inez’s bodyguards and the 2 waiters, one stationary and one who patrols between the lounge and the bar.
As said in Richard’s notes, If you managed to kill Richard in the room behind where they sit when they first arrive, Inez will walk into that room ALONE.
At the beginning of the mission, Richard’s bodyguards will follow Inez UNTIL they reach the staircase where the two hotel staff are. If you bump into her, the guards will leave, giving you the opportunity to off her, but be quick as one of the kitchen chefs in the level walks by after a few minutes, so I recommend poison for a safe kill OR hiding the body.
Restaurant Accidents - Inez
Summary
Inez randomly takes phone calls every now and then right outside the restaurant.
if you can get rid of or distract the guards, you can lure her towards the ledge and push her off or crush her with one of the chandeliers, note that she doesn’t walk under chandeliers or lean over ledges naturally, so find some coins!
Alternatively if your a risky person, you can KO Inez’s guards and syringe her just outside the restaurant area.
Vantage Point - Inez - NON SA
Summary
If you don’t give a shit about Silent assassin and want to deal with Inez, if you infiltrate Jackie Carrington’s suite, there’s an opportunity to snipe Inez while she takes a phone call outside the restaurant.
Lockdown - Richard
Summary
Richard has a lockdown spot in the room next to the lounge and another one at the entrance of the lounge, Inez does NOT have any lockdown whatsoever, but if panicked in the right place, she will panic and enter Richards Lockdown spot.
Richards bodyguards are (usually) the ONLY guards who escort him to the safe zone. Take them out and he’ll be all alone.
There is a trashcan nearby the sofa Richard sits on when he’s in his lockdown zone. if you don’t give a shit about Silent Assassin, you can panic Richard, place a bomb in the trashcan, and explode him.
Propane Double Kill - SA
Summary
Richard and Inez sit and walk together during their loop, a simple propane flask can blow them both up. You can find a ton of them near the area the targets spawn and in the birthday party.
Utilizing Ken Morgan - NEW
Summary
Inez does not have a target lockdown. But another NPC does! Ken is still present in this mission and funnily enough, if he’s panicked while Inez is outside and her guards see, Inez’s guards will DITCH her and escort Ken. Note that as soon as Ken’s lockdown is over, Her guards will go back to her, dead or not, so hide the body or perform an accident kill.
Infiltration - NEW
Summary
There are few areas to infiltrate the lounge/bar area.
Bar side entrance - this entrance is not guarded, The guards just don’t care if you enter that room despite it literally being a trespassing zone. a really good way to get behind the bar.
Room connecting the lounge - Requires a keycard or scrambler.
Balcony at 47’s suite - The area isn’t hostile until Richard goes inside the VIP lounge, if Richard or Inez die before they reach the area, it will never be hostile.
Disguises - NEW
Summary
Disguises allowed in the lounge are:
Waiters Disguise .
Bodyguard disguise.
CICADA Guard disguise.
For a NO KO run with disguises, you can steal a waiters disguise in the basement. You’ll be frisked if you try to enter the lounge as a waiter, (this is what the side entrance is for if your holding something illegal)
Wait so in the arcade version I could take out both targets if I start off at the security guard starting point and escape through the basement? Or is that starting point removed or targets start elsewhere if I start there?
You can start as a security guard at the back of hotel in the ET, basically right next to the targets. It’s pretty easy to blow them up with propane before they even walk out of this area and then escape via the Tuk Tuk (if you bring a wrench).
Of course there’s a high risk of collateral damage and/or getting caught since throwing the EMP or getting close enough to plant it would blow my cover? Or do they smoke there?
This video has me turning in a dangerous direction and going left after dropping it though, going the other direction is safer since the van explosion comes from the back of it and not the front.
So originally I wanted to try and get a sub-30 second run but after many failed attempts I decided to make a more doable 1 minute plus run depending on camera RNG. First time recording myself so hope it is a good quick watch!
The loadout is handyman wrench for tuk-tuk exit, a tranq gun and any emetic grenade to poison the two hotel staff by the doors. I also was not sure whether fixing the tuk-tuk was a legal action in a chef disguise, which is why I switched to a guard disguise.
This is also my first ever YouTube video from Xbox I did so sorry about the low quality. I hope that perhaps a few people can use this video to help them plan out how they can easily isolate these two targets.
Oh boy it’s time for the Ex-Dictator again! I just went for a simple propane boom to get them. The biggest compliment I can give them is they’re only the 2nd worst Bangkok ET. At least they can unlock the Casual Suit with Gloves, one of the best level suits imo.
I might just do that method myself. I know I was gonna do most ETs as flat murders instead of accidents, with a few exceptions, but this one is just more work than I’m willing to put into it right now while adhering to my parameters of perfection, so I’ll likely just propane tank them both and call it good, make up for it in arcade mode on them later when I feel like getting up close and personal with them.
