Elusive Target #21: THE EX-DICTATOR (Year 4: August 9-19 2024)

When the ex-dictator is poisoned by emetic, it is possible to kill him with “injected posion” around the pillar, even if the hotel staff is standing there.

What a sloppy execution (even for me). I waited for the guy to make his phone call and threw him over the railing. Then I shot the lady with a pistol from the balcony over the one bodyguard’s shoulder. Got away with two stars. I don’t even know what the other star was for, frankly.

The Warlord and The Ex-Dictator should be released as a combined bonus mission. Add the military officer as a target and have him and his men occupy the entire wing with him setting up shop in 47’s room making the whole floor off limits. The receptionist in the lobby saying that unfortunately they have no vacancies.

The Warlord is deceased during the time of the Ex-Dictator mission, stated in one of Richard’s phone calls, so it wouldn’t make sense for the missions to combine, plus that’s a pain in the ass tbh.

Started in Rm, :syringe: , :snail: , and remote emetic device. Went to another Rm and got :coin:s (Jacky’s?), climbed down the pipe, and waited… Used :coin:s to bait Richard into the corner, and he got the :syringe: .

KO’d a :man_cook: , then went further into the basement to get a waiter disguise. Fart boxed Inez, :snail:ed her 2 bodyguards in my Rm, then drowned her in the :toilet:. Retrieved my :necktie: and walked out.

It could’ve been worse - I thought about having the pipe lined with barbed wire so there wouldn’t be any climbing either.

Interesting! I never thought to try that, maybe next time in the arcade, I’ll have a bit of mess around with your idea.

Also because during The Warlord, Adeze calls Richard and isn’t thrilled that he isn’t at the hotel and somewhere else instead.

Well, it’s done, and boy, was it pathetic. Sloppy, by my standards. After trying a few methods, failing, and running out of patience quick, I just went with the propane blow up method as previously stated. It worked, SA and all that, but I had to shoot the propane tank, which I dislike, and worse, my first shot missed because I was hiding behind a potted plant and my first shot, meant to go through the leaves, hit the plant and alerted everyone. Fortunately no one spotted me before I could get off the second shot and terminate the two targets, and I got out without incident, but still. It’s forgivable, passable even, but sooooo sloppy. I just didn’t feel like restarting it again to avoid missing that first shot; too much time spent on this one as it was.

That would be a lot of work for a elusive target challenge.

But a good base for a side mission(s) centered around Crystal Dawn. A bonus map for a Bangkok.
From what I read there was an elusive target - The Fixer - which could be a good base for a possible Morroco part.
But I quess it is too late for H3 to get new big things because IOI probably move to next games.

It’s a miracle I’ve recorded this, cause it was meant to be my training run. I came for revenge, but ended up being even more embarrassed than the last time.

Never noticed before that Mobutu-at-home starts smoking (he does, right?) and lost my shit when the flask blew and actually killed them. Planned to ignite it with a shot, but not on this attempt. Didn’t even try my escape route, so had to stop before the pipe and look up my own video from the last year to make sure the balcony guards won’t shoot my ass if I slide down.

What’s even funnier, got my SA/SO/NKO this time. Still an upgrade from the previous attempt:

I didn’t know which one to put so I here’s both.

I had to be pretty fast for this once since I always start at the default location, and I failed a bunch of times because either I got spotted or didn’t place the coins in time.
Basically what I did was start with 6 coins, rush to through the kitchen into the storage with the PC, set 3 coins in the back, two to lure him there and one in the front dood where he passes (the ex-dictator follows the coins, the wife is behind him and the guards enter when the coins are in the back).
Then I tranqued the guards when the door closes (and when they didn’t clip into eachother), knocked out both of them and rushed to get the axe from the basement and throw it at em (I got inspired by the horror challenge to use it).
Finally I hid the bodies, got out by going into the other storage area to exit into the main garden area and took the boat and left with my SA.

This was actually pretty fun!
I liked having to run to intercept the targets and the weapon side objective, also because this ET can get boring pretty fast when they start getting into the mobile guarded areas (if you don’t gas them to get them out of there).

When I was recording my run this morning, the propane flask I’d thrown on the lounge couch only blew up Richard, leaving Inez completely unscathed!

Needless to say, this was not what I wanted, so I force quit.

This game be funny sometimes.

As I’m certain you were thinking “that didn’t just happened”, I’m going to go ahead and say “guess what it did”.

Could have gone to get another flask and just repeated it to get Inez.

Nope, not per Axwage’s Arbitrary Parameters of Perfection I couldn’t’ve!

Are they arbitrary, or are you trying to play as if 47 himself is actually doing it and no mistake of any sort is acceptable?
