Honestly considering the whole running away into the sea thing with Alma I don’t think she would fight back if threatened. She’s a total coward.
And the Envy assassin is more or less a ghost, he never directy interacts with 47 aside from killing his target before him, kinda like the 2 thieves in the Paris Christmas mission who are completely oblivious of his presence.
Probably because there are no animations for them?
I’ve heard two reasons. That’s one, they’d have to add all the necessary animations and record the needed voice lines. The other is that the game is currently balanced around 47 being able to get a disguise off of any guard.
So how exactly you get to make Valiant kill Prichard? I killed several clones during the tour on both the first run last year and on the arcade and never got to trigger that, but this time it seems to trigger randomly even though I’m pretty much doing the same thing on every attempt.
That is if disguises are even a thing in co-op mode.
SA/SO, propane from the abandoned building’s 4th floor for the mega accident (missing one was crushed), posion for the main target and 3 KOs to get the rest (headshot/control panel).
I mean it’s a good ET what can I say, if it was a special assignment (or be able to save) I’d like to lure each one into different corners of the map since it’s mostly empty.
I killed last clone by having him drag body of his buddy to sauna (for some reason, they haven’t changed location of where they drag body bags, so you can have Valiant clones to be together in sauna with many body bags, and it can even block the door).
All right. I was able to get a video uploaded. This is the best I could do with my current on-the-go setup. Here we have a video of medium quality, low frame rate, and reduced aspect ratio – but an awesome run! No Loadout, no instinct, no minimap, no KOs except with chloroform, and no suit.
Killed him and his clones - again! What I’ve found odd was that at the beginning of the mission the challenge “The Iteration Effect” popped up for playing the Splitter. And at the end I got rewarded with the Splitter Suit. Was this always like that? Will I get this reward every time I play the Splitter on reruns? I’m sure I’ve already had this disguise as I’ve killed him before:
Every time a celebrET is rerun, the related challenges are also activated (I think to allow new players to obtain those suits). So, if a suit is tied to this ET, playing the ET will unlock the challenge, even though you’ve already acquired the suit previously.
I don’t have the answer, but I do think yes.
Because every time an ET is activated, the related challenges are also “new”. E.g., the challenges about “The Undying” in Y4 are unrelated to the challenges of “Undying” Y5. So playing the Y5 ET will unlock Y5-specific challenges, whatever you’ve played/unlocked the Y4 ET.
The only challenge I do see is checked once and for all is the location-specific ET challenge. If you’ve completed an ET in Paris, the Paris-specific challenge is unlocked forever (whatever you are in Y3, Y4, or Y5 ET gallore).
IOI seems to have a policy of always having a celebrET active, so it’s a fill the gap situation.
Planned start of it was decided by the Eminem ET deal, that was an unorthodox 1st to 31st.
End of it looks designed to lead to a new roadmap for February 27th, a month before the then release of First Light.
So with a presumed month of Jovovich ET locking things, and without spotlight stealing between it and First Light. At the time.
It would also have opened a possible Le Chiffre, or even a new Roadmap, just after it and at First Light planned release on March 27th.
Or Le Chiffre would have been multiple month to both lead to and signal after.
For some reason, instead of just having one copy of each ET challenge and linking it to the multiple iterations of the same ET IO just make a copy of the challenges. Its a bit dumb that they’ve done it that way.
