Honestly not a very good mission either as it’s incredibly easy. Didn’t play the special assignment yet but it doesn’t seem like there’s that much to do.
This basically decanonizes the “Ken Morgan died four months ago” plot hole from Mendoza, the only plot hole this leaves is that Alexa Carlisle is said to have faked her dead in 2021 and not 2020
I’ve played every challenge in the Special Assignment.
Honestly, this Elusive Target isn’t bad. I would say it is one of my lesser favourites in recent years, but I’m glad IOI didn’t partner with a controversial figure again. (High bar I know)
The kill opportunities are fairly good for such a small and restrictive map, however that dialogue is something else. I may be young, but I have never heard anyone I know speak like that.
Do people really say that stuff?
The “Sussy Baka” line reminded me of that meme with Hank from Breaking Bad like 4 years ago. Is the rest of the dialogue that out of touch?
The premise is ok, I’m not hot on podcasting as is, but it being the centre of a mission is neat - I just wish the “being filmed” complication was a bit more interesting, instead of it just being like every other recording - get caught, delete, green guns.
The DLC packs look awful to me. I won’t imagine I’ll ever buy them.
I don’t seem to be in the target audience for most of these CelebETs and this one is no different.
As for what classes as a Celebrity - just about anything these days so seeing Jack in the game doesn’t surprise me. Plus he’s done voice acting amongst other things that weren’t half bad!
Edit: oh and the lore confirmations and etcs.
I do not like this. @Heisenberg I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on this
Until that kill can be made Silent Assassin to fit in with literally the rest of the entire series and 47 not killing innocent civilians en masse, I will treat any mission that “confirms” it as a canon event as an exaggerated hallucination (in the case of Untouchable), or the mission mentioning it is itself non-canon, such as the Host, here.
