Elusive Target Arcade

While it’s almost certain that the H2 ETs will all appear by the end of this (really just the Deceivers and Serial Killer since the Undying isn’t coming back), I’m more interested in some H1 targets that haven’t been seen in over 4 years. We know the Wild Card won’t be back, but there are, if I’m counting right, 4 that haven’t been see since the H1 rerun, and 5 that haven’t appeared for H3 yet but had a run in H2. So IO, please release into Arcade Mose:

The Forger, The Sensation, The Pharmacist, and The Ex-Dictator. We haven’t seen those jerks in a while. Also, re-release The Fixer, The Chef, The Blackmailer, The Warlord, and The Bad Boy.

For that matter, I wouldn’t mind the original versions of The Congressman and The Guru. You could even put those two together and have the Deceivers as the third one for a joke.

And then later on when you reveal that you’ve secretly been renewing contractual agreements to surprise us, release The Undying, The Wild Card, and The Undying Returns in one contract!

since his first appearance in 2016, he never reappeared, even in hitman 2016, he wasn’t reactivated once.

Not likely, sadly. It’s doable, but IO is focused on other things.

@zombiestien567 @Lone_Wanderer @Heisenberg HITMAN 2016 Elusive Target Wild Card was based and embodied the real person named Gary Busey, who is an actor. In order to have him in the game, IOI needed to sign a contact with him, which apparently was a one-time thing and thus Wild Card was never reactivated and won’t appear in the game in the future.
Same thing was with Undying in HITMAN 2, who was based on Sean Bean.
Apparently the contact with him was expanded, so we saw Undying multiple times in HITMAN 2.
But same story with him: both these Elusive Targets are history and won’t make a return

yeah you know what your right maybe we gonna have to move on

There’s always the possibility that they might work something out before they’re done with WoA content forever; work out arrangements for rereleasing them with the actors and parties in question. I’m not banking on it or holding my breath, but I won’t count it out completely until they are flatly done with WoA. They could always surprise us.

yeah i am aware, i did kill busey back in the day, would be cool to have old achievements transferred to hitman 3.

One can dream and hope of course, but let’s be realistic.
Personally I don’t see any reason of investing funds and efforts into old content for the game that has closed its life cycle.
I think the company and me personally want to invest resources into future games, not in those which already not being supported.
I guess there is a possibility of those targets to return in HITMAN 4 or whatever the next HITMAN game will be called. But again, this is an old content which not worth to babysit with till the Earth collapses.
We should take it, live with it, let it go and move on. This is my opinion.
And I’m telling as like a person who hadn’t a possibility to deal with Busey officially.
I killed him once about a year ago using mods, but I never got any of achievements with him, and he stays as Missed in my HITMAN 2016 game. I mean I would like to kill him earning an achievement, but it will never happen, I know that. He’s the only target I ever missed in the WoA trilogy so far

Practical, realistic, probably correct. However, until a door is fully closed and the hallway beyond collapsed, I cannot fully turn away from a possible path. The chances are not yet zero, and until then, I’ll still imagine what I’ll do if they should bring it back. Same with the S6. Just gotta consider it possible until it changes from implausible to impossible.

Yea it was so good to play the surgeons again
And the fact that I like h1 maps way more than h2 or h3.

I want to play this one again so badly. I’m sure it’ll be like going to see Dirty Dancing again in the theatre. You long for it, you wish for it, it finally happens, and you are massively let down bc it just wasn’t as good as you remembered, but unlike re-releasing that film (which cost$$), I just can’t see the harm in letting us play these old ETs

Last time I wanted to drown him in a toilet while wearing the tuxedo, but the fucker went to a trash bin in the hallway instead. My first time encountering that issue and it was infuriating. I had to settle for a damn fire extinguisher kill. I want him back so I can get it right this time.

Don’t ever re-watch it my friend. It’s just not as good as you remember. Even watching the sequel Havana Nights or watching the remake with Nicole Scherzinger (both are TERRIBLE) and then rewatching the original won’t make you enjoy it. You’ll just be mad you watched two bad movies :joy:

Years ago Conan O’Brien organized a grass roots campaign to rerelease it in theaters. I saw it in the theater for the second time then!
