Elusive Target Arcade

I actually wouldn’t mind that. They really are a fun challenge.

For today’s batch, I immediately recycled my original ETA strat for The Liability when we were required to hide his body and got that done real quick - but the other two at first I had no idea how I could possibly do them. After some playing around I managed to get them both done in under two and a half minutes each and was quite pleased with myself.

Unlocked katana, unfortunately, it does not spill colorful blood as someone here wished :frowning:

Additional enforcers on The Entertainer was quite fun, mainly due to the absolute hellscape of enforcers now in the Courtyard Club as a Waiter to try and poison the drink of the lady who carries the secondary objective list with her.

Took in a sedative poison vial as a Waiter, hid in the toilet until I had a brief window where all 4 enforcers were not staring directly at her drink on the bar, and rushed in and out to slip the roofies in her beverage. Then got the hell out of Dodge (picking up the free invitation to the Courtyard Club near the Bodyguard and Waiter outside the club’s entrrance) and came back in my suit after Missy had been sedative KO’ed to pick up the list objective item at my leisure with no enforcers to my suit.

Gotta love NPCs not bothering to pick their crap up after they get KO’ed and woken back up!

What’s all this complaining and debate about “restricted loadout”? That’s my favorite complication!

I was wondering where the additional enforcers were in The Entertainer (other than the target himself) since I did it Suit Only. I hid in the west corner of the Shisha Cafe and then shot her unseen with the Kalmer as she headed towards the bathroom from the bar.

Other than that, the only additional enforcer I noticed elsewhere was Dalia when starting in the Auction Room, but she didn’t force me to take an alternate path than what I wanted to anyway. And The Twin was over and done with in less than 15 seconds, so I didn’t notice a single enforcer.

Jeez, the H2 ETs got really repetitive. I almost wish Murillo will come back in the next batch, I’m sick of still killing Jimmy Chen and the other two old rags each month.
Why they don’t use the Censor more often?

Also, they moved the Deceivers to H1 contracts. I know the two targets originally appeared in H1, but as presented in the Deceivers, two targets in one mission, that was an H2 addition. If they’d been kept there, we could have had six H2 ETs to shuffle, leaving only one of the Forever Four to appear in each contract.

Yes, I see your point, but unfortunaly they are based on Sapienza, wich is an H1 location. I guess that is the deal.

You finish 1 of the sets of ETA targets, then you get the Katana. But the scrolling text on the bottom says (you) Complete The Connoisseurs, The Detours, and The Cartes Blaches.

I’m not sure why they have the word “and” in there when it’s ‘or’.

But, hey. Thanks IO for the cool reskinned weapon.

I assume that’s the logic too. You can’t play The Deceivers unless you have the H1 Access Pass (because as you said of the location used) - so putting it in a H2 Arcade Contract would lock players out from it that only have the H2 Access Pass + H3.

Still stupid. Absolutely nothing preventing them from liking it with H2 ETs. I swear, IOI really had a yo-yo track record of alternating genius and boneheadedness.

Except for, ya know, what I pointed out that they don’t want to give some sort of access to Sapienza to those that haven’t paid for it.

Did you snipe him? Cause the twins actually became enforcers .

Was a bit surprised that it’s the case even without disguise.

At this point, if you don’t have all parts of the trilogy, how the hell are you even playing? Still stupid, contracts with those targets should just be unavailable to those who don’t have Sapienza, just as H1 contracts over all, the whole trilogy is available in one package now, and I’d love to see the percentage of players playing H3 without the other two anyway.

H2 and 3 ETAs are already repetitive. I wish someday they release contracts with mixed targets. They could just make it unavailable to players who are missing any of the maps on that contract, besides, It seems that most people who play ETA (or any game modes besides the main campaign) already own everything anyway.

I said it before but I really don’t think anyone who doesn’t own everything gives a shit about this mode. Should just start mixing them up.

Yeah, I don’t think ioi thought that through. Why the fuck is Gonzalez, who paid YOU to kill his brother, an enforcer, to YOU? Makes no sense.

Of the 3 batches, I preferred ‘The Cartes Blanches’ the most. Probably due to the Broker. I sniped him from one of the parking lots (near the news van) while the fireworks were going off. I was spotted getting the egg due to Dalia’s side’ler boyfriend seeing me opening the safe.

The usual way is to throw a PT in the right spot and forget it while you get the egg.

Oh yeah. I guess next time I play this guy I’ll be sure to wear that yellow bunny mask. “Oh Eeeegg Heeeead!”

Enforcers see through walls and blending would make a more challenging complication.

In the normal gameplay of the ET, that would be correct, but this is an added complication that doesn’t exist in the mission’s true form. Yet another reason why I wish they would ditch this format now that they’ve given us so many of those, and just release a no complications version so we can play every ET in its true form.
