So? Get 4 stars and do it the way you want to. You’ll still get “silent assassin”…

Uh it’s weird I remember failing some of the earliest ETs a couple of times during one of those “1 paci max” ETs. Since when did the complications in the ETA become optional?

Back in May, along with the fourth batch of trials. There have been 6 batches since.

There was so much outcry from having the instant-fail complications that they retooled the thing. All arcade contracts are now only 3 levels deep too. In the latest (or near latest) update they also made it possible to mix and match maps from different games in the trilogy into a single contract too.

The only non-optional complications they have now are the ones that happen pre-level (like no load out). Anything in-level is optional.

And I never even noticed lol. So this is why the newest ETAs feel easier than the older ones, no more instant fails and 12-hours cooldowns

Yes you do! It’s good for casual play and stuff, its the same as the Surgeons and the syringes or any optional kill method in a escalation etc etc

Yep. If the final ranking is that important, do it the way that IOI wants. If it isn’t that important, do it the way you want to.

I find it should be optional, as all they have to do is pop up a warning before you start to say “hey you have a loadout, if you want 5 stars remove your loadout” or something. Bloody Deceivers being lock behind that stupid complication

did two arcades in the row next up the sandman suit for next thursday

I agree. Give the player the option to go with a load out or not with the knowledge that they will be restricted to 4 starts at most. I don’t know if they have the ability, code-wise, to do that without massive effort but I like the idea in principle.

I will not be following the no disguise change complication myself. I may just change disguises right at the end just because.

I was winging it with that idea, my general point still comes across of course! It just hate those ones, i was really hoping they’d change it to being optional back in May last year.

I know putting three double contracts on a restricted load out is bad as especially when it’s the deceivers 2nd time

The Ententainer is a really bad target for this, the only propanes in this map are on the other rooftop, and considering that the rooftop he is at has like 5 NPCs, and it’s incredibley small anyway, best option is to get him sick.

I never liked this dude, he is a fort target in a small rooftop with 4 other NPCs (and 2 of them are guards), and the 2nd objectives is being carried by a very random NPC in the most populated area on the map, so there are not too many ways to go around and get that list from her, he is a very shitty ET and explosions only is even shittier.

There is a way to blow him up.

His target lockdown spot is inside Kong’s Party, there’s a few motorbikes that can be blown up right at the entrance while he enters or exits the cafe. The thing you’d have to worry about is collateral damage because of the bodyguards escorting him.

Alternatively making him sick and blowing him up while he’s heading towards the washroom is safer though cuz he’s by himself, but takes WAY longer.

I do agree though, he’a not the best ET for this complication.

Is it “Explosion Accident” or will “Explosive Device” work for this complication?

Both work for this complication, but you need to keep in mind that there are 4 NPCs on that roof with him, so even then it doesn’t matter
