First of all, amazing job on Hitman World of Assassination! The recent celebrity targets like Snoop Dogg and JCVD are absolutely brilliant. They bring the perfect amount of dark humor and pop culture to the game.
I was playing the other day and came up with a community-focused idea that I just had to share with you guys.
Have you ever thought about partnering with Steve Carell?
To avoid copyright issues while making a huge nod to his iconic role in The Office, he could be named “Michael Scarn” (or Steven Carey) in-game. He would play an eccentric, completely incompetent, and annoying corporate CEO. To make it realistic and highly cost-effective to implement, it could easily take place in existing corporate environments, like the bank offices in New York or the consulate building in Marrakesh.
Important note: Having other iconic characters from The Office appear in the level would definitely be too much and might ruin the Hitman atmosphere. Keeping the focus solely on Steve Carell as a standalone target is the perfect way to keep it grounded in the game’s world.
To show you how well this fits, here is a full gameplay concept for the mission:
Mission Stories / Intriguing Paths:
- “The Performance Review”:
Disguise 47 as a corporate auditor or HR consultant. Secure a private 1-on-1 meeting with him in his office to discuss his “terrible management skills” and eliminate him when his back is turned.

“The IT Threat”:
Disguise 47 as an IT technician. Convince the CEO that his computer has been hacked. When he panics and follows you to the server room to “fix it”, you can trap him inside or stage an accident. -
“The Dundie Host”:
Steal his favorite golden trophy from his desk and place it on the conference room podium. This triggers an impromptu, cringeworthy speech where he stands right under a heavy chandelier.
Unique In-Game Challenges:
- “Jell-O Shot”: Eliminate the target using an explosive or proxy trap hidden inside a block of jelly.
- “Threat Level: Midnight”: Complete the mission without being spotted, using only a silenced pistol while wearing “The Middle Manager” suit.
- “The Fire Drill is NOT a Drill”: Sabotage the fire alarm, causing total panic, and eliminate the target during the evacuation chaos.
- “World’s Deadliest Boss”: Poison the target’s coffee mug in the break room using lethal poison.
- “Parkour!”: Push the target over a ledge or railing while he is trying to demonstrate an office safety stunt.

“The Middle Manager”: A slightly oversized, 90s-style corporate gray suit with a questionable colorful tie.
- “The Threat Level Jumpsuit”: An ultra-tight, overly tactical action tuxedo with cheap sunglasses (a nod to his amateur secret agent movie).

The Paper Guillotine: A lethal, sleek paper cutter blade used as a concealable handheld melee weapon.
- The Warehouse Box Cutter: A rusty but razor-sharp utility knife used for silent handheld takedowns.
- The Dundie Award: A gold trophy handheld melee weapon that makes a funny “ding” sound when you knock someone out with it.
- The Fountain Pen:
A classy pen that doubles as a lethal/emetic syringe.

A “World’s Best Assassin” coffee mug sitting permanently on 47’s planning desk.

Steve Carell loves self-deprecating humor, so I’m sure he’d have a blast voicing a character like this, and the community would absolutely lose its mind!
