that’s not new though. it is in h2 as well
Small but nice change, we got suits ordered in categories so it’s easier/quicker to find the one you want
we didnt get a lot of the big-name features like human shield or dual ballers, but we did get level-specific fan requests fulfilled. targets that fight back, rain, snow, ratings, etc.
its clear that the scope of this game was to fulfill fan requests that can implemented per-level and not globally (new abilities for 47). the camera is the only new global feature, but even then it does unique things per-level
I did not know this. Is this in all difficulties? Makes it kind of easy though right? You can get spotted but just follow them out and still have no penalty sounds ok in the lower difficulties but I’d think it better to remove that in Master difficulty personally. I normally just start killing everyone when I get spotted so this is good to know .
Sorting of suits instead of one long scroll
organization of suits? Really, how thrilling. That’s what you guys get excited about? Takes just as long to go to the different categories than it is to scroll just to find a suit that will be ditched as soon as you need a new outfit to blend in. To each his own. Show me some human shield so getting out of “fake surrender” is more worthwhile. Show me some fiber wire while sitting. Show me dual ballers. Show me the animation that was cut for picking up bodies when hiding them. Show me the neck snapping sound as it was before they added the arcade sound.
Haven’t played Hitman 3, but this something IO should add. Contracts are the long term lifeblood of WOA series. Why not many changes?
I mean its not a huge change but people have been asking for some sort of UI sorting since H2016. And its actually much quicker to move tabs than to scroll down the whole list
Yeah, what you want are more substantial changes. Unfortunately we didn’t get many of those tho
Haven’t been any Contracts Mode changes since like H2016. No-one but IO knows why tho. I’d dying for contracts changes tbh
I’ll be honest, I got Hitman about 2-3 years ago, played it a little, then about a year ago I got Hitman 2. That’s why I couldn’t say for sure how much IO has changed Contracts.
Edit: You never know, they could introduce changes in an update.
Well it is a fan requested feature
I know we are talking about fan requested features but how can we even forget @MrOchoa’s ‘thing’ that they added in the end😏
A talking point just came up on another thread, about the number of female targets in H3. And obviously how none of the ICA agents were women. Also
And a fan requested feature that we never got (and I understand why from a development point of view) is
-
A new type of AI, specifically targets that can flee but will still try to fight 47 if it comes down to it
-
Female bodyguards. I’m less sure why this never became a thing tbh, would’ve quite liked it (for both narrative and gameplay reasons e.g. guards who’s outfit you can’t steal)
I’m speculating, but I think this might actually be a reason for why we only have male guards.
should’ve brought back different body types from absolution too. there were pretty fat cops whose disguises weren’t an option either
I speculate that the main reason they won’t add female guards is they have to redo every single combat voice line in the game, which would be, a heck ton of work.
I thought about that to, but surely that can’t be the reason right? They have so much dialogue in the game already surely another set of guard dialogue is just a drop in the ocean
Yes, but it’s not necessary
We will never know. The important part is that we didn’t get any female guards.
I mean if just necessary stuff is what we’re going for then we’d have a hell of a lot less content
I think it would’ve been an interesting mechanic to make one of the missions really stand out
Sign me up for “return of the dual Silverballers.”
It’s more the iconic look than anything since my play style doesn’t really necessitate them. I’ve also been patiently awaiting the dual pistol return in the Tomb Raider games as well so 47 has some company.
One of my favorite moments in Absolution was recovering the pistols in Birdie’s Gift.
