Yeah, this caught my attention (and bothers me) as well. I mean there are bound to be international guests and staff, and you could technically justify Al-Ghazali not having a regional accent by having him studied in the US (or having a private tutor), but it is concerning and has significantly hampered my expectations in this regard…
Btw, is the bloke voicing Al-Ghazali the same one who voices the Ark member at the start of Sgail? (the one welcoming the patrons - though he certainly voiced other characters I can´t quite remember rn)

It’s the generic actor they use in pretty much every level. Whittleton Creek party guest + I think Politician, Miami upstairs researcher, Ark Society dude, blah blah
Yeah, thought so… Plus the first guy you hear is the generic English dude who voices probably even more characters. I´m starting to get allergic to those voices…

hm? they’re reusing the voice actors for Mumbai (at least, one of them). we heard it back in the VR Announcement trailer. so, yes, there are accents

i feel like we would only need to press the prompt if we wanted to change suits. and if we wanted to stay in the HALO suit, we would just walk through the curtain

I’d like to see the Inventory menu and if they’ve reworked its navigation (likewise for main menus).
Given the sheer amount of items available for 47 to access and carry, simple horizontal scrolling is not the way to go.

The UAE is home to a significant population of Asian workers including South Asians, many of who are treated poorly. Also the proper demonym is Emirati.

You right but it can be a old build of the game. At the end of the day you just want to see new gameplay mechanics and locations. I suppose that the UI and all that stuff can be changed without any complications. Anyway we’ll see everything when the game is available.

The UAE have a large Indian population, so IO could quite easily get away with having the Mumbai voice actors, but yeah, no Arabic accents…
In IO´s eyes, the French, Italians, Arabs (Moroccans), Thais, and Japanese are the same 
I´d say they´re quite distinct, but I do agree a tweak might do the trick.
